Personally I do not like the way you navigate menus using Kinect. Navigation is way to slow with the current implementation due to the pauses when selecting items and the fact that most games implement a system where you have to verify your choice with a OK/Cancel after selection. Getting into the gameplay can be a very tedious process and lots of times when you only have 10 minutes to play you don't want to spend 2-5 minutes to get into the gameplay.

One of the first features we added to our site back in 2007 was the "BurnoutAholics Gamertag Generator". This has been extremely popular and has been featured on the top of list of name-generators all over the web.

Unfortunately the generator stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Today I finally got around to fixing it. While doing so I also expanded the wordlists that is used to generate the names. It can now generate over 37000 different names!

BurnoutAholics.com has now been upgraded to the latest supported version of Drupal. We are still working on the site but most of the features and a couple of new ones are already up and running. Some content is still missing but I hope to fix that quickly.

This weekend we had a bit of a clear out at home and it's inspired me to do the same to our Links page.

There are a few more Criterion Games dudes on twitter who I will be adding. Mostly tho, I am deleting links which are pretty much redundant now.

It has been almost 3 years since the last major upgrade of the site. As we are expecting new members and more traffic with a new Burnout game coming out we are planning to do a major update to the site. First of all we will upgrade the site to Drupal version 6.22. This is not the latest version but at the time this is as high as we can go. Version 6.22 has a bunch of security related fixes and new features compared to the version we are running today. We are also planning to change the visual aspect of the site... possibly with a new color scheme and a new layout.

OK, so I have a bit more time this morning to give a slightly longer impression of Burnout CRASH!

On first watching this footage, whilst being distracted by my energetic toddler, I thought "hmmm this just isn't Burnout". But, as (sadly) I have come to expect that from Criterion Games, I took a second look without any preconceptions.... and it looks a lot of FUN!!! 🙂

OK, so we now have more details about Burnout Crash. Xandu wrote a super quick story this morning before he was able to read more details. I am in the process of editing that story and putting some flesh on the bones as I go through all the other bits and pieces about the game I can find.

 hello everyone my name is TouringOak4 i am going to be breaking a new highest drifting records of all time on Burnout paridise and wish for every1 support i am going to do the drifting record 5 days flat and some help with my redbull lol to keep me alive and awake. and i will show you my evidence when i have done so as i be soing this i will not be able to sleep as if i do then well my drifting will stop and may have to restart .

please tell me why everybody including me has been removed from the hall of fame, tell me why please. i think thats out of order all the hard work i put in to it, just to be removed.
