It's been a while since I travelled the roads of Paradise for any real length of time. My love for the game remained undiminished in that time it's just that...well...Gears of War 2...Call of Duty WaW...Street Fighter IV...among others...have meant that there has been other demands on my time. Throw the birth of my son into the mix (born on 12th Feb...same birthday as me!) and you can hopefully understand that that time has become more and more limited.

So I'm torn whether I should get the new boost pack. I have heard only a few different opinions on the cars from people who already have them. Unfortunately most of these people's opinions generally end up saying that the pack is not worth the six hundred and some points that were spent.  I would rather not waste my points on something I won't be using but I would like to hear other peoples opinion before I buy them. If you have any opinion on the new boost pack please let me know. Thanks :)

Dumb question; but let's say I want to start Burnout Paradise all over again, but I don't want to loose any of my records.I basically want to see how fast I can play through the game from the start compared to the first time.How do I start over, and not loose all of the cars, and records, and stuff?

$12.99 for all 9, 1000 MS points! Is my 13 bucks worth of cars, and bike, going to keep me satisfied until the boost specials come out? when I am expected to then shell out some more MS points for those, probably 800 , and then the island, God knows what that update will cost.Now I know that all of the other updates were free, and business is business, add that all up, and you have now spent around 80 dollars, including the game.Some will argue that the game is new every time you update it.It is somewhat new.How about giving me a free car when I purchase the whole pack (well I guess the bike counts as a free something).At least making me feel like I got a little bonus for spending my hard earned cash, or if you buy 7 you can win 2 more by beating their burning routes, and you have to shut them down, that was fun stuff.Give me a beater that you just can't repair you have to put some miles on it, and win some races with it in order to fix it up a little each time, or upgrade it.Come on CG lets see some imagination, and creativeness when it comes to parting with our cash we want more bang for our bucks!!We need goals, something to shoot for, not just stuff we can buy, we want to win it!

I'm one of the few here probably who's playing BP for the PC, and lately I really feel like Criterion neglects their PC-version of this game...

Seriously, all they would care about lately is promoting their car-packs to an utterly disgusting point (seriously: All of them posting news day by day only asking to "get the Legendary cars pack" and stuff slowly gets annoying and is unlike what Criterion seems to was before) and I've heard nothing about the PC-version since release anymore... It's like they'd slowly let it die what reminds me of Eden Games and their behavior with Test Drive Unlimited. This behavior was: Always update Xbox360 and PS3, but only update the PC once.

I don't know about you, but I like the update. I have a very serious dislike to the new Takedown mechanics. Who agrees?

New Burnout 3 tournament this weekend but this is a more limited one so sign up one :) Really hope they make it earlier so people in the UK can play :)

Does anyone know when the Toy cars, and Boost specials will be released for good this time?The boost cars I really want to drive, getting kind of bored with the Legendary cars.

I really would like to get them ASAP.
