Today is a sunny Sunday in Manchester (4 days of Sun in a row so far??

Not for me..

but I know I will have to give them a bit more than the 5 minutes or so I gave them last night.

I was at work yesterday, so wasn't able to play til I got home, as I work in an office I was reading the forums to see peoples reactions to the bikes.

Bike Pack - First Impressions

After racing the streets of Paradise City on two wheels for about 5 hours I must say that the Bikes are a cool addition to Paradise City. So far I've done all the Burning and Midnight rides, the 128 time road rules and about half of the online challenges. I've unlocked all the bikes and some other goodies (when I got 101%).

Typical!

Here I am, willing (and sorta able) to take some time to get the update for Paradise, and what happens? My Live membership has run out something like... yesterday! Now is that typical or what?

Fortunately I could order immediately from a shop at a good price, and should have it tomorrow. Then... bikepack, here I come!

Game Designer would like Paradise World Editor

Does anyone know if the PC version of paradise will have a world Editor?  I would like to make district...If not I'll just use MAX, but world editors are always fun.

Big Bike Ad

Gametrailers.com have put up a video advertising the release of the Bike pack.

It is probably the best footage of the bikes that I have seen so far. This ad is very much geared to getting people excited about the bikes, and trying to get new Burner's into Paradise City.

It is time to kick ass and chew bubble gum...

... but I'm all out of gum!

Duke Nukem 3D - Shake it baby!

Next Wednesday (2008-09-24) Duke Nukem 3D is crashing onto XBox Live Arcade. I'm really excited about this release. It comes with all the original levels and 8 player multiplayer on Xbox Live so you can really get your boots dirty. Next to Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem is my all time favourite FPS. I'm looking forward to playing through all the episodes again. Bikes pack or not - next Wednesday will be duke day for me. Hail to the king baby!

Hopefully a short one here.

England kicked the Crows ass, with a 4-1 lead.

The F1 Track link: http://www.singaporegp.sg/ticket/racemap.php hopefully it will work?

And another dull day today, but I got to go out today just to keep moving, I did go for a walk Saturday to get food (a tastly homemase style burger, that needed a bigger bun)and see if it was worth renting and joining a Video shop. But when I walked about, there was only five, yep five things I had not seen and one was 21, and drunk had lent me the book, so i will wait before i watch that, plus the book was good and fast.PLus to join would have cost me over £20 with fee's and deposits, way to expensive for me, but then again it was not blockbusters anyway.

Oh No.. Bikes are Coming!

I know I am meant to be excited about the Bikes, but I'm really not... 😴

OK, I might not feel that bored about it, but having just watched Crash TV episode 9 (go get it from ITunes, you know you want to), I am just not feeling the bikes... they don't look particularly fast, they don't crash in an exciting way, you can't get takedowns (presumably), and there is no boost.

Well I'm on my own...

My Dad's gone of the China with bad weather on the way and the Landslide, one of my brothers is in Texas, just about to be hit by Ike, and I was going to use this next couple of days to get my CV together and apply for some jobs at the Singapore gaming houses, don't know what to apply for yet, but I play games, do a lot of media work for myself  and some others, and handy with a camera, can do art, but there is a stigma attacted to that from my school dayz, so I don't rely on my art not that i have done much of that in the last 10 years or more.
