I have found out the meaning of the word Unlimited and it is 5Gb in peak times!

Virgin Media have considered my 5,6GB downloading in peak times as excessive, and they have now put me on their throttle list. So, for this week between 4pm and 12am EVERYDAY my speed is being capped to that of a 64kbps dial up connection… but it feels a lot slower!

I know your all probably sick of hearing this subject but it just intrigues me so much to discover why people love this game so much.I hear often that its because of the rank and to me thats silly because you can lose that lovely number just as quick as what you gained it.The community?...well yeah ill agree there we do have our own special little community but i suppose that community can be created likewise in any other game....So why do we play it..well ill start by telling you why i really play it..I should be telling you i dont race for rank but id be lying because i do...obviously its sweet as hell to have a low rank...and the community well thats just irreplaceable to me...its like my second home....but the real reason has to be ADDICTION....sounds crap doesnt it but its took me 3 years to admit that to myself..lol...but its true you mention addiction to people and they associate it with smoking...drinking...etc but i associate addiction with Burnout im thinking about it all the time and when im not playing im watching paul play or should i say i HAVE to watch paul play...i love watching where he goes and what speeds he gets...i also like watching him mess up....😕......but no it learns me more just by watching cos i get to look at things/ways that i couldnt look at if i was driving....{mr eastern bay for example}....lol.....i think its also because i sit here watching paul all day that when it comes time for me to play i cant wait i get all excited and giggly.....i also use my watching time as an advantage because i get to see how other people race people who i wouldnt normally race with due to time differences....and its interesting....for example pauls been running alot of laptimes lately with hawkeye and it involved a hell of alot of White Mountain F/R.....{For those reading who dont know me well i hate White Mountain either way mainly for the reason that i could never master it....lol...}...and after watching him run these laps i can see the improvement in myself....and thats been my goal lately to improve on that aspect of the game....ask hobolicious i used to park up after becoming 6 miles behind seriously lol but now i own him {occasionally} on his track and that gives me so much self satisfaction......but it all burns down to ADDICTION for me....im going on so ill go now you guys take it easy and if you see my room come and join me im always up for a good battle.....😉....                                 [gamercard:PsychedelicBabe]

New Friends.

Paradise

Last Night met some people to play Paradise with, and made two new friends which is alway nice, probably more, to just dick about with, help them out with challenges and basically listen to other peoples lives as they tick by, was a good room to hang out in. And since the host has a good number of people to play, had to jump to make room, but it was cool.

As some of you might have noticed adding colour to your blogs and forum posts is not possible for most users on BurnoutAholics.com.

Adding colours to spice up your signature is however allowed and I want to give you some tips on how to do it.

Ive been racing REVENGE for what feels like a lifetime now but i just cant get the speed that other racers get.... it drives me crazy because i see good racers just tear away from me..... i think the only reason i win races sometimes is because i dont crash....i was racing Dog and Waterball the other night and i was racing well i didnt crash once and i held first place all 3 laps....i had noticed dog and waterball fighting and i just carried on but before i knew it from 0.5 to like 50ft in a matter of no time....waterball however overtook me and won...i was like WOW....but how do they do it? ive raced people and ive been like 100ft behind them and i just cant for the life of me catch them....i guess there just boost jumping perfectly and some of the speeds theyre reaching must be amazing....im lucky if i can get over 250 of a harrier ........ i guess ill just have to put up with the speeds im currently getting because im not going to get much faster without help i suppose....but then i think of when i first started and i guess i have improved a hell of alot...:)

Am new here thought I would drop a line a blog to say hi, and introduce myself.  Have been playing burnout since they started and it is the best game since. Which I could complete more challanges but seems to always get into a room where people just want to boost around and take each other down...🙁

My Computersaurus has finally fossilised and been replaced by a super sexy and lightning fast black and silver beast with everything I could possibly need!

I no longer have time to make a coffee and round of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while I'm waiting for my computer to boot.

I have been spending quite a lot of time in Paradise City the last couple of weeks and two days ago I finally completed all the challenges. I've had lots of fun doing this.

The last challenge I had left to do was the 8 player 75% Power Parking Challenge. We had one player that was online for the first time in the room and of course he had no mic. After trying to do the challenge for 10 minutes I decided to hunt him down and try to help him out. I could see that he was trying but he kept setting of the alarms of the cars... I did a couple of power parkings when he was watching and then parked in front of a car that was still untouched and after 3-4 tries he finally got it! I think this was a cool way to complete the challenges.

We have been playing quite a bit of Paradise lately... almost every day! The reason? to try to complete all 350 challenges before Cagney.

Xandu made it a couple of days ago, but I still have about 9 challenges left.. all 4 player ones.

I feel as though my Revenge Racer has been clamped by parking attendents!

My workplace is bringing the hammer down hard on those who use the internet for personal reasons during worktime. Now, this may sound fair - after all they do pay me for the hours I am working, but it does mean that my forum and BurnoutAholics.com time has been severely restricted.
