AS I am going to it's release party in Singapore on Friday, so another 'free' lance journalism job for Burnoutaholics, will be trying out the PC version and the Xbox version, since the PS3 version was scrapped due to issuses with the internals of that console. No real interviews to do, as was told no-one will be there to do so?! Except the reps from EA and Xbox, but will try to hassle them as much as I can.

Also having a laugh at some of the comments that people are saying about my long comments and forums posts, lol. They used to take a while to right a year ago not not so long now, lol.

Oh and psyc popped over to read your stuff on Xbox nation for the last couple of days and last week, good work lass!

I just completed Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Brilliant game. I still have some stuff left to do so I will still be playing it... might even play it again using one of the other characters (was using the crazy Swedish dude the first time).

I have re-written my CV, it's just over to pages, and I am worried I have not worked enough, but then again I stuck with the jobs I did get, rather than go else where, maybe I should have done a dozen jobs in a year, but then what that have said about me?

I am glad I never gave up the short practice films I did do, but not happy about putting them in a show-reel before I came here, Not they were great, as they were more experiment, like night shooting with natural light, in the snow, using the Tunsten Street Lights, and moon light.

I am still awaiting some news about some writting I was discussed about last week, but hey, what else can I do but wait for that. I know what the pay scale is but, will I get that as it is here not there, if you get me. But have been practicing, and will come up with new ideas each day until I'm told what I will be writing about?

What bugs me is I came up with a cool idea on the way home from town today, got home and forgot it, D'oh! Why did I not write it in my note book, I even had it in my bag, but the driver was talking to me about houses, with interesting architecture, and he was telling me street names and I was trying to picture them in my mind, as some I had may have seen before, so I think that is where I lost the thought. I stopped writting about Faye - Queen of the Jungle, because I was not sure if it could work as a believable story, as the location would not make someone stay in the jungle for 10 years but it was interesting!

Anyway time to think of sleep and some brain dead TV, but looking forward to Hero's season 3, in a couple of weeks.

It's been on for a couple of weeks here, 1st show on BBC2 and then the next on BBC3 afterwards, so we are only watching the BBC3 ones now, couldn't stay up late enough last night tho (still feeling poorly 🤢) so will get to watch a NEW double bill next week.

Enjoying Fringe and Sanctuary too, in fact I'm more likely to watch TV of an evening now then to play games. No-one seems to be playing much of anything at the moment (except Xan on Mercs2), hardly anyone on my friends list is playing Paradise or Pure. I have played a bit of Revenge and even had a good night on BO3!

Still meant to be working, but really lost my enthusiasm for that... got my driving test next week so expect my next blog instalment on learning to drive afterwards! 🚗

Panicking slightly, as it looks like my eggbox is really going down. Was playing Lego SW earlier, and suddenly game froze and weird red and green squiggly pixels were all over the screen. After rebooting a couple of times it as still the same, checked cables, still the same. Booted up with Paradise to test another game, and it *looked* ok until I actually had to choose a vehicle; strange vertical shadows and lines from, in this case, the motorcycle and changing direction when I turned any which way.

Googling the prob shows me that I might have to take it in for repairs... 😢

Right now I'll just wait until hubby gets home, get him to give opinion and possibly make the call after this weekend (going to Berlin on business trip).

Was a good film but did not watch Tropic Thunder, as it was on at 10 to midnight! But worth a watch, if your not a paranoid, you will be after, I already am, so it just confirmed some things for me, lol. Visually it had some great effects, too. Blindness looks to be a good film to watch too.

And it was me, 6 students and 1 hot lady, in a 500 seat cinema, and she seemed to change into, a sort of bag lady, she put on a cardi, air-con can be very cooling, put up her hair, in a bun that fell apart, and as we trooped out, she disappeared, was she a witch, who knows but i just wanted to say hi, and ask if she wanted to met up for another film? But she did look good when she came in, but then I just started to watch the film, film... lady, film won, sorry guys! Maybe I will see her again next week? Lol.

Kotaku seems to have hit what I want from an arcade racer, on the head, meaning the game sounds good, until I play it I can't say much, maybe it will be at X08 tommorrow, and I'll have a chance to give a small verdict, but don't like giving a real opinion until I have spent 8 hours in a game to say stuff. But going by other reviews I have read, it seems to have come across well. And I am looking forward to it.

I like the fact the AI are hard to beat and made the map arcady, so you can make a corner with a drift and drive, sort of like Burnout games before Paradise. But I think the Island update will cure some of that?

When I get home I have 4 or 5 games to play, and now looking for places cheap enough to be able to afford them, maybe I should become a paid reviewer, so I get some games sent my way for free, any games companies who want to give me a try, send me a PM, and I'll give you an address to send your games too, for me to test and finish and review! Go on I spell so much better now, as long as I have not been drinking.

And I have had a shower, and been on my feet for 15 hours, and I have played about with the NXE, the new Bond game, Gears of War 2, MC:LA, Red Faction G (too long to spell now), Tomb Raider Under (water for a bit) but the new Tomb Raider advert lass, is very pretty, the right height, and fit, physically, Battle Axe with a chick, Deep Space. Seen Street Fighter IV in action and saw a new friend kick ssa on it, Resident Evil 5 playable, Gears of War Horde mode, which if your a fan, you will have fun trying to complete that mode it's hard, but as they said 5 friends can help out, Saints Row 2 has a good start point, lol, what else, oh, created an Avatar on NXE, which is so worth waiting for (though at first you maybe lost, that so goes away, its great, and yes through what ever comparisons you want it works, and not that i will give details away, (hey I'm still looking for work here), more good stuff, sorry great stuff, on the way, and yes there is a time line, but with all this stuff coming out what do you care, right?

Far Cry 2 played way good, NFS:Undercover, is now better after it was optimised, RA3 for console is great, though PC will look better due to res setting, what else, Monopoly is fun, I'm sure there is more, will be writting it up, but thought I would give you a heads up, quickly before i did a long one, will try to write tonight, but I just did a long one, so may just chill and scribble.

But it was a great day and thank you Microsoft,  and your people (will name them laters if I can remember them all, go most of the important ones down, including the chief, and my hands were not even sweating) and I am glad I made the right choice, not that any of the others are bad, but you guys, try hard to make us happy, and are still apologizing to your fans for, stuff that can just happen, and you do do your best, yes people I am kissing ssa, but I got 4 free games in my goody bag, lol, so what do you expect and they do put on a good show.
