The consequence of repairs

Ok, I've done it. Maybe I'm totally silly, but...

I just bought an extra eggbox today. I'm kind tired of waiting for mickeysoft to get their heads out of their backsides. 1) it took them 3 days to send me the email with addy label for sending to service center

2) I sent it Thursday last week and they still claim they're waiting for it. UPS *has* delivered it to them according to the tracking number

3) I'm getting a friend over Saturday and a week on, and she's very interested in knowing something about Revenge online and Paradise, and... well, you get the picture.

So yes... I did it. Now I have an eggbox in the house, and when the other one comes back, we'll have a spare, in case... 😃

Cya... soon!

The consequence of repairs

2 eggboxes are better than 1!

I understand completely Aaboe! 🙂

When my first Xbox 360 RRod'd It was before they were fixing them for free, so I would have had to pay £80 for a fix. Instead I paid £129.00 for a 2nd box. It was the best purchase I ever made. It wasn't until after I was able to get my dead box fixed for free that I needed to have a 2nd one anyway.. so it all worked out beautifully.

I know what you mean about the long wait for a label, I had to wait a few days for mine too... then had to wait another few days before I was near a printer... then I tried phoning UPS on a Saturday afternoon and they were already closed for the weekend... then I rang on the monday morning and they picked it up the same day. The UPS guy reckoned I would have it back on the Tuesday of the following week, which will be next Tuesday.. we will see.

I'm just glad I still have a working 360 in the house, and I still have my Original Xbox that I can play Burnout 3 online with too! ❤️🎮

Getting some... fun true play time

I gotta tell you, bubby, the friend is truly a friend, and actually sort of partner in my company. And my husband would probably look a bit weirdly at me if I used Burnout to get a kiss from someone other than him. 😉

A couple of years ago, when Revenge was newish, we (friend, hubby and me) spent most of a xmas holiday playing it together. Lots of laughs, some gasps and basically a truly fun play time was had by us all. We all felt that we had sort of degenerated into a bunch of 15-year-old kids, non-gender-specific. At the time, I was around 35, and I was the youngest! Now *that* is what Burnout is truly good for... bringing the kid out in you and rejuvenating even the most mature person!

Laters...

If what your sayin' is you

If what your sayin' is you bought another egg? to"get some " through BurnOut? I gotta laugh at that! and say "good luck" and maybe you will have a good Burnout player to "play" with. I say this because my now ex was an awsome Burner and we had so much fun playin' together. Because you can give each other a fist bump AND a kiss. I probably would have done the same. It's kind of romantic in a geeky gamer kind of way, my props to ya...have fun
