Keep Out!

As hardly anyone on my friends list plays Burnout anymore, seriously! Last night I had 23 friends online and the only one playing Revenge was Xandu!!  I have spent some time this week watching gamer tv to have a look at some other games that I might be missing out on.

I have watched a bit of xleague.tv which is just a little wierd, all e-sports leagues and seeing footage of people playing GOW and Motorstorm with dodgy commentary. But they do have some kinda cool discussion and magazine shows too.

This morning I have watched a bit of the gamer.tv shows on Bravo. They had some footage from E3 '07 and the Leipzig games convention. Nothing that really made me want to go out and buy a new game, but they did have a mini snippet of Burnout Paradise along with Alex Ward (at least I think it sounded like Alex) talking about the Keep Out signs around the city and this being an invitation from the game to go explore!

I have always been a gamer that plays one game at a time as when I get into a game I don't want to play anything else until I have had enough or completed it. I used to play a lot of platformers like Banjo, Donkey Kong, Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter. Around that time the other games I got into were Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. But since being into Burnout 3 no other game has taken my attention away from Burnout. And I can't see any other titles coming up that will. The only game I am really excited about is Burnout Paradise.

I have been downloading some new demos to try too, so I will try to keep an open mind, but unless a game instantly thrills me I get bored and want to race!
