things in paradise that are p*ssing me off!
its growing on me (i was addicted to revenge), things that are p*ssing me off so far:
no proper crash mode (showtime is rubbish)
no aftertouch
no crashbreaker
getting lost on races
no option for the map to rotate rather than the car
no retry option
cant turn jump/takedown animations off
cant target something on the map (like the gps in test drive)
no checking traffic
shortcuts that lead u in the exact opposite direction
road rage now uses cars that look like the traffic so is hard to tell which is which
parked cars?????
no splashing into the water animation
DJ ATOMICA!!!!!!
licsense upgrade/photo/new car animation getting repetetive, no way to turn off
apart from that though its top notch !!! 
currently 48% the way through
what does everyone else think?

I agree with you about the no restart and most other things but I DISAGREE with you about D J Atomica he is the reason why I bought the game.I think he makes the game more cool and he has a great voice I think it would be cool if he was live when you played and annouced y7ou gamer tag when you did somethingt cool,I bet if they did that this game would be more popular than it all ready is.

Aim for the Sky!
What I love about Showtime is there is no Gold target to reach. The crash is only limited by your ability.
Aim to beat your personal best. Aim to beat the Showtime Road Rule. Aim to beat your friends score. Aim to hit those buses and street signs. Aim for the Sky!
The same goes for Stunt Run, its not about achieving the target, but how far above the target you can go!

maybe i took the traffic checking for granted in revenge and its something im gonna have to get used to, ive just noticed that the big van can knock pretty much anything out the way still.
showtime just seems to easy and theres nothing to aim for, like you knew what the gold value was on revenge

I think the game is very
I think the game is very good. But as you write. No targeting on the map. Lika a "Go To". And the retry option. But since the game is supposed to be "Open road" that's makes it very good that theese options aren't included.
The showtime is brilliant imo. You have sooo much more to do now rather than drive of a ramp and use the aftertouch option. My ShowTime highscore is: $6.819.000.

I agree with you for the
I agree with you for the most part. However, you can set a go-to point on the map, you just hit the start button and the LB button to go to the map, select the event you are aiming for, and then go back to the game. The event you want (generally a burning route for me) will be an itchy tiny icon off one of the edges of the map in the direction you want to drive to get there.

Offline Road Rules Maybe?
The Offline Road Rules that you have to beat are set by the devs by the looks of it, "Pompey Paul" has the time score on Ross. "Rootie" on Root etc.
I haven't noticed any other names that aren't on my friends list.

Not completely gone
The takedown 4x4 can traffic check. I just hate the slo-mo when you are offline and about to crash and it goes into that before you hit something and you end up crashing after not hitting anything!
