After all this time...

Here what happened lately... I decided to get my rank up to 75,500. Just to see who will actually let me stay in and race afterall, they do know what my gamertag is when they see Nero Angelo on... I have raced some of these players before so they know exactly how I race..

Gaming and Politics.

In video games there are politics just like there are in the real world. Anyone that’s played an online video game long enough will find that the politics in games is almost as bad, if not worse than that of the real world.

Halloween Podcast

If you haven't already seen it, I recommend you go to ITunes and subscribe to the Crash TV podcast and download episode 11, The Halloween Special.

There is a great mini movie tribute to Resident Evil! 🎬 👍 It looks the the boys at Criterion Games had a lot of fun making this weeks podcast, and I enjoyed watching it. It is a perfect RE tribute, down to the footstep sound effects and door opening graphics! It's probably the shortest podcast yet, but definitely worth a look, if only for the Resident Evil tribute!!

Showtime!

I was reading  jwillisjr's latest blog and it brought not just a smile to my face but a question to my lips.

As much as I enjoyed Showtime when I first purchased Paradise I haven't played that mode since picking up the achievement for beating the last road.

Paradise Confessions: Blackwolf22303 "The back of the Bus..."

Well, another day in Paradise city. Everything was going well, I raced a few people online and then got offline for some other kind of fun.  I found myself wondering pass white cars, red cars, Gillet vans and then it hit me...I am in a Takedown 4x4...and I hate these Buses.  For a while now the Paradise Metro has laughed in my face, mocking me as I tear through traffic but not through it. An here is where the story begins...

What do you expect from the update announcements?

Tomorrow sees the first of 4 update packs for Burnout Paradise to be announced over the next 4 weeks over at CriterionGames.com.

What do you think we can expect from the updates? What are you expecting? What do you think Burnout Paradise needs?

XNA Game Studio 3.0

XNA Game Studio 3.0 is now live. I'm downloading it now and will probably be playing around with it tonight. It is also very good news that XNA 3.0 integrates with Visual Studio 2008. This means that I  can finally get rid of my Visual Studio 2005 install.

Vertical Takedowns: The Quintessential Force of Destruction

In the years since my induction to the Burnout addiction, I have see, and been the primary factor, of many forms of auto-carnage. I have been the instrumental force behind a grinding takedown. I have seen foe's plow head on into innocent and unsuspecting Sunday drivers. It has also been my pleasure to nudge my nemesis off the road, whereby he or she took a long walk off a short pier strait down into a 500+ foot deep canyon of terror. However, no action has delighted me so much to the point of zen than the vertical takedown. Ah yes, to gracefully soar into the wild blue sky at a rate of approximately 165mph, place yourself at a precisely calculated trajectory point, and finally come down hard and sure, as the hammer of justice, onto your opponent's freshly painted hard top convertible. A move executed, in most cases, by pure luck or what may be considered an "accident." Such an action, in this writers eyes, should be considered the most celebrated of destructive maneuvers. As stated before, most times this may come to pass without planing and by total surprise. However, for those of us with the skill and vision to place ourselves at a superb leap (let's say the South Bay EXPWY in Burnout: Paradise) followed by clean access to our enemies rooftop, done so with the precise aim of Japanese Kensai, we are surely Gods of our domain. With this said, I bestow upon the Vertical Takedown, the title of "The Quintessential Force of Destruction."

The consequence of repairs

Ok, I've done it. Maybe I'm totally silly, but...

I just bought an extra eggbox today. I'm kind tired of waiting for mickeysoft to get their heads out of their backsides. 1) it took them 3 days to send me the email with addy label for sending to service center
