jsut got elite

I got my elite 2 days ago and I have to say it was pretty easy I expected this game to be harder but if anyone needs advice for the stunt runs, this is what I did: almost every stunt run is either closer to the ramps at the beach or closer to the bridge near the lone stallion ranch. just get to one of those places and you will get alot of points. I also have 78/81 cars but Im not sure which ones I dont have the only one I know for sure is the carbon gt becuase I have the other 2 carbon cars.

more progress towards Elite License...

just 25 event wins to go before i unlock the Elite license.

- 75/80 cars in my garage

- completed all Burning Routes

- completed all Marked Mans

- completed all Races

ok, so i can do the remaining Road Rages, it will just take some time to pull them off.  The thing i'm worried about are the Stunt Runs.  You see, i didn't do any of those while i was working towards my Burnout License. The few times i've tried Stunt Run, i was really bad at it.

Well if you don't know, but you can guess where me and drunk are and daylight2night

We are on a burnout meet up, with citysurferboy and the champagne supernova, lol.

The world of Amsterdam is awesome, you have to play burnout with the people and the trams, taxi's and bikes and other people trying to focus on safe haven. The whole town is a burners paradise. And a taxi ride in a merc sports is awesome too. Van Gogh picture gallery, was a place where we lost people, they were very nice pictures, to stay and watch what your mind did with them. And trams are interesting, too, getting thrown around the back of one of them, trying to sit down is very funny.

Oh hey Bloggy

hey Bloggy just  a short vistit to let you know that I am well and to let you know what I have been doing that is more inportant than talking to you, I have been deep in the Paradise World exploring and trying to get some A.Points (can't spell it so I wont try) and I have had a few all though I did cheat to get two of them (bad, bad Booty) I think it was the 1000,000 point's in the stunt run and the 20x boost chain, it's not realy a cheat but it does feel that way, I am proud that I got my 100% power parking totaly by accident of course, I was in chat with some one and lost concentaration and pressed the wrong button, I think I am 11 races away from my Burnout Licence and need 8 bill boards and 4 smashes left

Updates 02-02-2008

The super jump guide is now done. Thanks to evild for taking all the screen shots and making the map.

Have a look at our new Super Jump Guide. Originally I made it so that you could zoom in on parts of the map and then select the jump. This solution was not brilliant and I finally ended up showing the whole map in 1600x1200 rez with a horizontal scroll bar. This is easy to navigate and the map is displayed the way it was meant to. You can click on the green dots to go directly to a screen shot of the jump.

Random Friends Request

Since Paradise was released I have received loads of random friends requests with no message, from people I have not played before.

These get instantly deleted and just annoy me!

If you are gonna send a friends request to someone you don't know, at least send a message with it to introduce yourself.

working on my elite license...

i'm finally down to 59 wins needed for my Elite License.  the next cars are coming at 53, 39, 25 (if i calculated correctly).

 - 66 cars + 4 sponsor cars + 1 steel wheels == 71 cars in my garage

I Beat the Test!

I got 100% on the multiple choice part of my driving theory test and a stonking high score on the hazard perception part too!

So, now I can concentrate on actually driving! Watch Out!!

Thanks for the Good Luck messages!

Gentlepersons — start your engines!

I have been recovering from a rather serious brain injury — three different stays in hospitals (several months) followed by some additional time in a convalescent home. Years of relearning.

One item (among many) on my list of skills that need improvement was certainly driving. Very important to my prior life was mobility. Yes, the basics of walking, running, swimming, etc. were important to me — as was driving. Over 25 years as a gypsy (I held drivers licenses in fifteen states, plus some repeats) working in the engineering field, choosing contracts that gave me a three-month-or-so summer in places like Honolulu, Baja California and The Netherlands.

There has to be SOMETHING wrong!

But there isn't. It's perfect. At first I was really sceptic about the concept of Burnout Paradise. I love racing games but to move the racing into an open, living, breathing city? Was that the right choice? Hell yes!

For example PGR4 was "ok", but who wants to spend their time struggling to keep their car on a straight road, or drive around cones? Well i wouldn't. Never again now that I can race through a CITY (CITY! Not a track, CITY!) 200 mph, through traffic, while other racers are driving for nothing less than first place and trying to take me down like a pack of hungry wolves!
