My thoughts on NFS:HP

Personally, I thinks it's a really refreshing change from Split/Seconds' short but great gameplay and Blurs' frustrating single player. Actually, it's nice to have new, good racing game after a while of waiting for one. First of all, the graphics are fantastic. I believe it uses one of DICEs' engines, and with great succes: Seacrest County is a very colourful and beautiful place. It really captures the US's west-coast area as they intended. The game runs smoothly too.

Need for Speed Photo Mode

I think the photo mode is a great addition (well, there was one in the first Burnout), and you can get some great looking screenshots. You can also grab them from here: http://hotpursuit.needforspeed.com/autolog/photos

Zombie's 1st Impressions of NFS:HP

We finally got our limited edition Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit's on Thursday, after a very long pre-order period.

So... that Need For Speed game.

It's tooooottally coming out next week. *nods* Yup.

I never did quite get used to the handle of the cars and still maintaining speed in the demo. Though I suppose I was trying to play it like Paradise.

X-Changes

Today the new Xbox dashboard update hit and along with the updated Xbox.com, Xbox is fully Kinectified!

I used to be the first to admit that I don't cope with change well, but I was thinking about this today... after days of being frustrated with Xbox.com and weeks of being annoyed about the update as I have been in the preview program... and I have concluded that it's not change that I don't like, but change for changes sake!

MOJO

Have an ISSUE and it's driving me round the bend.... regarding MOJO wristbands which I keep rabbiting on about on various social networking websites, my friends on facebook do not seem to understand my emphasis on this particular little item.

Yes I will accept I'm a little bit crackers, accept the fact that I have certain ideas about the World and the way things are.... at the end of the day (hate that statement) the World is what it is and my views are certainly not dissimilar to that of others, trust me :)

I really need to do a blog about Brink!

But all I can say it's the Muttz Nutz, and the people working on it are it's handlers and they have a happy dog! And they make Barbara Woodhouse (may she rest in peace) look like clown herder!

The Final Day of Xbox Live

I was one of the last gamers to play Burnout 3: Takedown on Xbox Live on the 15th of April 2010. I am proud that I was there at the very end.

As well as taking photo's of the Burnout leaderboards before they vanished forever, I took some other photo's too!

On the last day of Halo 2, Bungie put some messages on screen thanking us for playing and giving Halo 2 the send off it deserved.

Here are a couple of screens of the messages from Bungie: Last Day of Halo 2 Online
