Burnout Revenge servers are back ONLINE!

I can only assume that someone on the wonderful Tuesday server maintenance team  who was away on holiday last month found that one of their servers was unplugged.

But still played 3 hours of it just to make sure.;)

Couldn`t believe it, but got online and had some great races. Hopefully, they will stay on as it does seem to be a breach of terms of the game. Especially as you can still buy it. Unsuspecting people who found out they could not play online are right to feel cheated, as we all do, so hopefully a retraction is due to false advertisment. 

The burners have spoken.

The Save Burnout Revenge group on Facebook (now disbanded) emailed Alex when ther servers came back online and they got this response:

Everyone seems to be taking this as confirmation the game is back, but I think it's pretty vague and doesn't confirm the servers are back on because someone consciously made that decision, or if it's incidental to other work done on the servers or some other happy accident that EA will rectify when they realise the error.

I know we are all jumping up and down with excitement and happiness about being able to play online again, and I hope it lasts a very long time... but I am hesitant to celebrate too much just to be disappointed again if it is only temporary.

so I saw someone say it is now Zombie Burnout.

But anyone who has a PS2 and Burnout 3. It might be worth trying to get online. I don't know how the PS side of things worked, if they just went direct to the EA servers or not. Maybe B3 has been sneaking back as a zombie game too on the odd Tuesday.

PS2 online is not really running as much B3 is very unlikely to still be online. and even if it was the Gass is the X button and the brake is Square then the boost it right bumper or R1 lol it would be difficult to go back and forth from PS2 to 360.
