Burnout Revenge Servers are still online

Burnout Revenge Servers are still online! If you have problems connecting to the EA servers and use your gamertag on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One the solution is as follows.

1. Turn on and sign in on both consoles (Xbox 360 and Xbox One)
2. Launch Burnout Revenge on the Xbox 360 and find a race or host your own.

Returning to the lobby after a set of races seems to be pretty slow, but it works so be patient.

Burnout Revenge Online still going strong!

We have found a way to get an estimate of the number of unique online users in Burnout Revenge, Paradise and Crash. Which one do you think is most popular now??? It should come as no surprise that the most popular of the three is Burnout Revenge!

Burnout Paradise vs. Burnout Revenge

Microsoft and EA do not publish information about how many users are online in their games. The only information we get is a top 20 online activity list from MajorNelson. This is totally useless since there is no information about the actual number of players.

13 April 2012 R.I.P. Burnout Revenge Online

*****The servers are now back online, long may it stay that way*****

Today we read the shocking, albeit expected news that the Burnout Revenge servers for Xbox 360 will be sunsetted on the 13th of April 2012.

This is a huge tragedy for the Burnout community, there will be no true Burnout racing games online after this.

To say I am saddened by this news is an understatement, the fact that the date falls on my birthday is also really upsetting.

...I only just started playing it again. crying

Nero Angelo's Guide to Maintaining Speed - Part 2

The Theory of Speed: Revenge

 - This is in response to a question Moangel74 asked me several days ago. The question was Nero, is there a trick to doing this? Obviously you get the same boost jumps I do, yet you’re pulling away… What are you doing that is different from me? Well, if you all are wondering whether there is a trick to doing this, whether there is something that several fast racers know that other racers don’t? The answer to that question is; yes, there is… There is a trick to doing this properly… its called Drifting.
