Updates 08-10-2007

We have also drawn the winners of the contest and we will make an announcement shortly.

My new game

Morning Bloggy long time no postie, urm I got SKATE yesterday as I was bored of Halo 3 (all ready) no one plays Burnout Revenge at the moment, I had to pay a whopping £45 as the only copy I could find was at Blockbusters (wallet Busters more like) I got a free skate video with it, not really free is it. Anyway after putting the disk in to my 360 and having a little skate around I have discovered that the default camera angle is all wrong as it is positioned to the side of the skater which makes it difficult to aim for a kerb or rail heck even a ramp, but being a big fan of skateboarding games I  decided not to give up that easy and after a short break I had another go, the right anlouge stick doesnt work for me, I cant seem to nail it, shure it easy to Olie or Nolie but then you need to land in a manual and its pretty hard as you end up doing another olie, when you get stuck in corners it gets frustrating that you cant jump off the bord and turn around, as for open world, it aint that special, all the houses are the same, all the roads, what happend to pot holes or little stones, so honestly this game will not get a place on my shelf and will be traded in along with all the other bad games  that I have bought, I now realise why there was a timer on the Demo, thats my rant over and yes Ezo it sucks bring on TH...

Burnout Team Rock!

Go listen to the new Crash FM Podcast and then read on!

OK so here's the deal - Xandu and I just spent the weekend with the Burnout Team in Guildford, they asked if we would go and hang out with them and try Paradise! Ofcourse we said yes!!! The only condition.. you can't talk about Paradise! So although we have had a sneak peak of the game please don't ask us about it because we wont tell you!

Hi Tammy and Kristian,

Hope you enjoyed visiting Criterion HQ. We enjoyed having you and hope you enjoyed playing the new game.

Alex

Bout time I wrote something on here, burnout on halo 3

Twas a dark and stormy Wednesday night, I popped my eggbox on and joined monkies room, {Halo3 custom game}. I spawned middle of the map rocket launcher on my shoulder, watching a mongoose flying through the air at least 600 foot up in the air, two men on board, I didn't have a clue what was going on, so as you do, i opened fire on anything that moved or looked like it was going to move. "whats going on?"(which is a question i ask a lot), I asked suffer. "rocket race" was the reply. oooooo, i thought sounds like fun.

The Paradise Cars Unveiled

As IGN are previewing a car a day this week, and we have seen a bit of the Steel Wheels car in the trailer we can finally get some opinion on the game content.

So what do you think of the new cars? and what do you think of the cars names?

New video on the Criterion web site, well link to IGN

Showing off the new cars, like a car of the week, (sorry edit a car a day), they did Steel Wheels last week, this week, day 1, is the Hawker, takes a while to buffer through, but the car seems to be ok, but its the Pardise city logo, 'In Criterion we Trust' then some latin which is hard to see, about putting the pedal to the metal and go?Since i can't read and see it well, i assume thats what it says. Someone else can do the analysis, i hate buffered films, and i can't seem to save it as yet, Xan, probably will so until then.  We have to trust Criterion. lol

Euro Circuit Racer

As some of you probably know I've been playing some Forza 2 Motorsport lately. I finally completed the game last week after about 2 months. It took me a total of 58 hours to complete the game which shouldn’t be too bad since my winning percentage is 98%.

Learning to Drive

I started taking driving lessons again a few weeks ago. Its been 15 years since I first got my provisional licence and although I did about half a dozen lessons about 7 years ago I haven't driven since so I am starting from scratch.
