I'm missing online racing with bikes and leaderboards for timed bike challenges. I hope this is something that is already in the pack but just locked for some reason.

Appart from that I enjoy the bike pack and the day/night cycle makes the city come more alive although the colors get very gray and dull at times.

I like the bikes a lot, but they're quite a lot harder to turn than a car... and I'm missing the handbrake

But it's fun driving them and I've *never* done time rules so fast before. Easy to weave around. Night time is creepy IMO, since it's harder to see where you are and where you're going. Already now I've had some unexpected *things* point out that I crashed into. I didn't even know what it was!

I'm glad I got it and despite some opinions that it doesn't really fit, I at least think it's all in good fun. Now I "just" need that bigger television so I can actually read what it says when I've completed a challenge thingie...

Laters...

The motorcycles and environmental add-ons are great additions to Paradise.
Criterion definitely has created the best gaming community experience around and to offer up what is essential a new game for free in an industry where companies are charging for every little gimmick add-on they can think of is truly awesome.

I just had a few questions...
Why do the bikes only have one brake control? I've been a biker for over 10 years now and I was surprised when I started playing that I couldn't use the individual brakes to effect how the bike controls? The current braking system acts very much as it would if you applied both brakes at the same time evenly, which is fine in safe day to day riding. Then again this is Burnout and there is nothing safe about that.

I was hoping that on a curve or ramp you would be able to slam your rear brake and lock it up making your bikes rear end whip out and throw it into a spin. This would be great off of ramps  and other jumps. Much like the e-brake works on the cars.  The loss of spins was kind of a shock, it's such a major part of what makes the cars fun.  Also since they went with crotch rocket bikes, if you had the ability to control only the front break it would be great for bringing the bike up on it's front tire and gliding on it. I mean this wouldn't work on a Harley with a raked out front end, but would be perfect for the current bikes.  This could blow stunt runs wide open for motorcycles.
Don't get me wrong, I'm loving this and am extremely happy. I just see so much potential for the bikes in paradise.

Here's a great video of individual braking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLvLjajdw80

Is Defo something I want to do before i'm worm food! What are you riding Yolkum or do you have a few bikes like me - my fav's this one:

It's just gathering dust tho at the minute and THIS Baby:

......is what i'm gonna buy next but put a tourer raised seat, slash cuts, Triumph America handlebar set up and highway bars on the front with raised footrests - only problem is I don't like washing bikes and this craves love and attention.  I know I will just kill it but that's what bikes are for sometimes lol

...is a bit bland. Think they just made it dark instead of turning Paradise City into a Neon playground...hardly seems like it's brimming with life does it?

Hey ichienkai, sorry it took me so long to reply. I haven't been on the site for quite a while.

That triumph is gonna be sweet, with those mods you described. very cool... Hope you get it.

I was riding a Yamaha V-Star Custom years back, nice solid bike, but sold it after my kids were born, but last year I got the itch and bought this...

JAnes Harley Davidson Rocker 08

Janes HD Rocker

It's a 2008 Harley Davidson Rocker FXCW. I got wandering around the local HD shop one night and saw the rockers with the raked out front end and 240 mm rear tire and had to get one. I customized a lot of it this winter. Adding the demon skull graphics, powder coat pipes & air cleaner, moved the license plate to the side,  put spikes on the fenders, new grips & pegs, home made heal toe shifter and added a cycle tunes package with ipod touch. Did all the work myself, except for the vinyl wraps, I just made the graphics for them and T-n-T Graphics put them on for me.  Really lovin this ride. Handles great and has a 1584 cc engine, so it has plenty of get up and go when you need it.

Hey if yer every in the states drop me a line, I'll go ridin with ya.

I like what you've done with your HD Yolkum, especially the pipes, a friend of mine did the license plate thing you've done on his Triumph Speedmaster recently and had the rear fender cut down and it really transformed the back end.  Im definately steering away from the superbike market as you cant really use them on UK roads to their full potential, you could if you wanted jail time or an early grave....  It's nice to have that power on tap but most of the time it's just cool to pass by unnoticed ya know?  Yeah would be awesome to catch a ride with you in the states man in the future, hope to have my Triumph by 2010, cant see it being any sooner, kinda painful waiting for it lol
