Burnout Paradise online cars

Just to clear up what cars are the best for Burnout Paradise online. Remember if your looking to win high ranked matches you really need to be up to speed (scuse the pun) on these cars and when to use them.

Feel free to add your ideas.

for the list of cars and stats got to http://www.burnoutaholics.com/?q=node/793

1. The PCPD. This is an obvious one really. If you have ever been online on paradise you would have most likely come accross this car. It's a police F1 car!!! That means speed and handling are great but wont stand a chance in a fight. Higher ranked and serious racers will use this car for flat city streets where it's handling and boost make it superior. Wont drift as well as some other cars. Getting it up to speed is also no problem as it's the 3rd fastest accelerating car.

2. The Raj Jin. This is available to all players from as soon as they come online. Main point to keep in mind. It's boostless!!! this means no need for unnessessary drifts and oncomings to keep with the pack. It's stupidly fast but it's sluggish looks match it's handling and has the turning ability of a bus when it's up to speed (which it gets to very quickly). It's the 2nd fastest accelerating car but only just and once the PCPD boosts it'll slowly gain on the Raj Jin. But if someone in the Lobby is using a PCPD and you havn't unlocked it yet use this car if you want to stand a chance at the flat roads. Just dont use it in the mountains

3. The Thunder Custom. An agressive car that looks smart and moves very quickly in a straight line but looses lots of speed on the corners but it's weight and size mean that your not gonna get taken down any time soon in a race full of PCPD's and Raj Jin's. Use in straight lines only!

4. The Uberschall Clear View. A good alternative top end car if you dont like the amount of PCPD's in the lobbys. This is the quickest accelerating car in the game. Really good round corners. Has the tendancy to spin out at low speeds though. Looks sweet as hell too.

5. The Revenge racer. The makers of the cars wanted to keep this exactly the same from the title car of burnout revenge and as a result it's full of boost and AMAZING round corners. Stupidly fast all round but not quite as quick on the flat as others. When used right this dominates the mountains.

6. Other tips. Feel free to express your views. But i dont want to hear PCPD is the best or anything like that. Yes it's the best for the majority of races but you try racing routes like "catch my drift" in a PCPD against a well used Revenger racer and you'll see why i wrote this. If you are new to online dont be phased by the amount of tier 10 boost cars, and blast through the easy offline modes and untill u get there use the Raj Jin.

7. Yet more tips. Strongest car: takedown 4x4. Best stunt cars: Carbon X12 and Hotrod. When Playing marked man offline use stunt or speed cars not the strong slow ones. The AI wont follow you down shortcuts (which contain jumps for boost) so you can keep your speed up for when you have to venture on the roads.

Please let me know if you think anything else should be added.

And in the days before anyone, could drive the PCPD, I could beat them because they would crash on those unknown corners, while i would just skim round, also, the Roadster fit's through traffic, to gain boostage a'la near miss etc.

Would you be interested in doing the rest of your blog for each class of car? Which is the best for racing anyway, since I don't really like the PCPD and have raced the Revenge Racer, to death in Revenge, The Hawker is a good one for 8?,9 and 10 boost classes too?

I also stick with stunt boost, since it is always there, and still not worked out what is so great about agression boost yet, I wonder if Criterion will 'tweak' it, as I think it is under used!

Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out?
