So waiting for a plane to Hong Kong to see the Tiger's again, and see if they have anymore new games to play. It's very hard to buy cigerettes at this airport, you can do it, but it's a very small amount, and you can't bring any in either, which is odd, because there must be some revenue from it, for people getting off a plane. You can buy booze, but not cig's, strange.
Anyway I did day three at X08, and the Rock Band Competition was awesome, the band that won, changed 'instruments' mid song, no pause, and while in songs, the singer would use the other band members guitar, using the solo buttons to play the Solo and 100% it too! This band was the only band to get over 1,000,000 points for each song too! They were called DGM, or Damn Good Musicians, thought this is a game, so a bit tongue and cheek.
The the winner of best preformence and to get the crowd going too, was the FOX Clan, These guys (there was a girl drummer by the way), did have a lot of energy and did a great Ramones cover, can't remember the song, but it is on the disk of the game, they were outstanding too. This is a family were each member has an XBox 360, so at least 10 to 12 XBox to the house, lol, and they were great people too and a pleasure to meet, well I was introduced to both bands via Abdul, so what can I say, other than it was a great day and weekend and a great show, thanks to Microsoft and XBox 360!
It was just so great to see people having fun and using Rock Band for what it was for, to look like Rock Stars, I will write more on this in a comment in my X08 blog, and yes sorry that was not my best blog, and will try harder next time, lol. But when your at an XBox 360 show and your a fan, it's hard to be objective, lol.
Well have to think about boarding the plane now, but did think about shopping, saw a great couple of cameras, one by Olympus, that is water proof to 3 meters, and a Cannon, that does 28mm wide angle, so I'm going to think about picking either one up? Around £230 each. I like my phone camera, but i need to zoom in for some stuff, like those huge spiders in HK, lol. My camera did not do them justice.
And the thought of boarding may be a good idea, though there is no plane on the tarmac as yet?
Anyway till next time, take care, see you on Live from HK.
