XNA Game Studio 3.0 is now live. I'm downloading it now and will probably be playing around with it tonight. It is also very good news that XNA 3.0 integrates with Visual Studio 2008. This means that I can finally get rid of my Visual Studio 2005 install.

What is xna?
XNA Game Studio is a tool that targets small game studios, hobbyists, or students looking to get started in game development. XNA enables people to create games for the XBOX 360, Windows and Zune. To find out more about XNA have a look here: http://creators.xna.com.
When the new Xbox Experience is out on 19-11-2008 you will be able to try out some of the games made with XNA.
Xna Game Studio is free but to be able to submit Community Games for sale in Xbox LIVE Marketplace you have to be a Premium Member of the XNA Creators Club. You also have to be a premium member to be able to play/test the games you create on a XBox 360. Community games on XBox Live Marketplace will be priced at 200, 400 and 800 points depending on the size of the game.
