For those of you who are PS3 users take a look at your BP trophies. In addition to the previously added trophies for the Party Pack trophies are now showing for the new cars. Trophies are listed for the legendary cars and the boost specials as well as the toy cars.
Trophies are:
Win a Stunt Run in the P12 88 Special
Light up the Manhattan Spirit during an Online Challenge
Score a Boost Chain of x3 in the GT Nighthawk
Sound the horn on Silver Lake Super Jump in the Cavalry Bootlegger
Survive a Marked Man in the Extreme Hot Rod (I think this was offline)
Complete a Timed Challenge using all 3 Boost types in the Hawker Mech
Win a Race in a Toy Car
Barrel Roll a Toy Car in the Airfield
Complete a Bike Timed Challenge using the Toy Bike
Of particular interest is the trophy for the Hawker Mech which requires the use of all three boost types to complete a timed challenge. Sounds like selectable boost types on the car.
To see the trophies yourself go to the compare trophies function on the XMB. When the list of games appears scroll down to BP and select - the trophy comparison should show the new trophies at the bottom.
Credit for this goes to Enkeithekiller (whose user ID I have most assuredly just misspelled). Typos in the list of trophies are all mine - should have gotten a picture of the screen rather than writing them down.

Toy Bike
As far as I know these new achievements are the first time we have heard about a Toy Bike being part of the Toy Cars pack.
Hopefully we will see more info on all of the Boost Specials and Toy Cars in upcoming Crash TV episodes.

"Free" update.
The new update refinements seem to be all for offline play and for newcomers to the game (apart for the in-game store for the PS3).
All I can say is they haven't taken a blind bit of notice to the players who have been playing the game since release, who have commented about many game killing aspects (ranked racing, takedowns, Fog on-off option and countless others), and i'm also guessing that this a compulsary download if you want to play online. looks like its tough titties for those of us who were expecting to get at least some of the game fixing updates we have been complaining about since the game came out.
Criterion, not listening, not caring, not gonna do a damn thing for its old school hardcore fanbase, thanks for kcuf all.
And to all you Paradise noobs, bite me.
