How do you restart an event in the new update?

Hi everyone.  This is my first post.

I had a question.  I just got the 1.60 update today and I am unable to figure out how to use the new "restart event" feature.

When I lose an event, I get the "you lost the event" screen but there is nothing to indicate "press this to restart"

When I pause during the event, I don't see any option to restart/

Does anyone know how to restart an event?

I've googled it and found nothing, so I thought I should try here.

The d pad to access the drive time ( i forgot its real name??) menu and it will say restart event, or the back button in the middle of the race too, i think, but i stuck with the d pad.

Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out?
