I'm one of the few here probably who's playing BP for the PC, and lately I really feel like Criterion neglects their PC-version of this game...
Seriously, all they would care about lately is promoting their car-packs to an utterly disgusting point (seriously: All of them posting news day by day only asking to "get the Legendary cars pack" and stuff slowly gets annoying and is unlike what Criterion seems to was before) and I've heard nothing about the PC-version since release anymore... It's like they'd slowly let it die what reminds me of Eden Games and their behavior with Test Drive Unlimited. This behavior was: Always update Xbox360 and PS3, but only update the PC once.
I really hope Criterion won't turn Burnout Paradise (PC) into a second Test Drive Unlimited, because I'm sure that most PC-gamers will hate this a damn lot.

You hit the nail on the head
You hit the nail on the head and have explained why I've already cut back my playtime of Burnout Paradise by a large margin (play it a couple hours once a week...maybe...).
I mean, I love the game, but it got boring fast especially while watching them talking about all this stuff for the XBox and PS3 and nary a whisper that the PC version even exists.

Sorry you feel neglected
However, the game you got out of the box, we (on consoles) had to wait a good few updates for. So, although you may not yet have the Legendary and Toy cars available to you, you do have a lot more then we had a few weeks after release.
We had to wait 8 months before we got Bikes.. you got these on day of release. (I know you had to wait a lot longer for the game to actually be released, but you get my point??)
Ofcourse CG are going to be banging on about console users buying the new content, just like when the Ultimate box was released they were banging on about PC users being able to buy the game, which held very little interest for their existing console fanbase. They always only talk about what is new.
I hope you do get the additional content soon tho.. not because I think they are any good, but just for fairness.
Being an Xbox 360 user I understand how you feel too, CG are much more likely to talk about Sony Playstation then any other format, as it is their platform of choice.

Actually, you can look at it
Actually, you can look at it that we PC players have had to wait until a couple months ago to get any content at all while watching y'all enjoy the game for YEARS...
I get the point you were making, of course, however playing on the PC right now is like playing with the broken matchbox cars when all the other kids at the park are playing with brand new hotwheels stored in their new big wheel carry case on hotwheel tracks, while playing with them on the hotwheels Thunder Mountain playset. (okay...when I was a kid, I was the one with the hotwheels...)

CrashTVJez Hey PC players! The car packs will probably be out next Wednesday. Look for an official announcement on www.criteriongames.com on Monday!

actually you have a point
actually you have a point with what you said, i felt much the same way, but now the additional content is there for us too.
The only thing i dont really get is their information politic, this twittering is nice and okay but the main game news should be less advertisment and more on the game and the Community.
