Thought I would repost this from CG's page as it gives some good guidelines for how to be a good host on Burnout Paradise, you can also see our own hosting guides:

The Art of Hosting in Burnout Paradise - Part 2
Think you know the rules of Freeburn? Test out your knowledge with The Referee's quick and simple quiz (answers below).
1. You are the Freeburn host and have set a simple challenge to meet up at Lone Stallion Ranch. Every player but one, who is driving away from the red dot on the map, has arrived. What should you do?
A) Interpret this as deliberately preventing restart of play and immediately kick him from the game.
B) Give clear vocal directions to the missing player, making it clear that he should proceed directly to Lone Stallion Ranch. If he fails to show an effort to comply with your directions, kick him from the game.
C) Take no action.
2. Whilst you are selecting a Freeburn Challenge a player repeatedly and carelessly performs a Takedown on you. What should you do?
A) Abandon the Challenge select and kick him for unsporting conduct.
B) Complete Challenge select and caution the player, warning him that any further offence will lead to him being kicked from the game.
C) Abandon Challenge select and enter into an epic "tit for tat" Takedown battle with the player all over Paradise City.
3. You have just started an 8-player Timed Challenge. Your camera is connected. Your partner enters the room to ask you what you want to do later. What should you do?
A) Indicate to your partner to wait with a clear hand signal. Complete the challenge, leave the game and have a witty and informed conversation with your partner about options for the rest of the day.
B) Ignore your partner outright - they are not within the field of play and therefore not subject to the rules of Freeburn.
C) Quickly find yourself on the player list and select "Mute Player". Happily continue the conversation with your partner whilst completing the Timed Challenge and whatever the host selects next.
Answers
1. The correct answer is B. Your main responsibility is to the game and therefore taking no action is not an option here. Don't just kick the player straight away - he could just be a n00b.
2. The correct answer is B. Whilst it may be tempting to exact Takedown revenge on the irritating player you should allow play to continue. As the player's actions were careless and not reckless, a caution is more appropriate than a kicking at this stage.
3. The correct answer is C. Spectators' behaviour is also your responsibility so your partner cannot be ignored (despite the fact the that you are playing Burnout). There's no need to quit the game when you can keep your conversation private with the mute option - note that you are quite within your rights to broadcast the conversation if, in your judgement, "it might be funny".
Remember, The Referee's decision is final.
