Nice, some great game play footage of some great games, no Burnout Paradise in thier bit. Halo 3 was very pretty as Drunk would say, well thats all for them, stuff looked good and was sold to us for being on top of charts, which means thier good. Halo 3 was very, very pretty. Nice Games for Vista Too, and some sequels and that game Fatal Inertcia, pod racer come burnout come extreme g and other stuff, i like very, very fast. Some stuff coming in future looks good, and arcade very nice. Great next-gen graffiks, i like, will down-load later off XBox Live, to dribble over in privacey of own home.
On a side note: Saw some of the full footage of Burnout Paradise (Alpha Build)and loved it's look and game play, bit NFSish but hey that was a good game too, but not Burnout, whatever. Aerobatics and after-touch (is that on-line, said to be an online game so it must be),SWEET. I like a lot and looking forward to making a mess, all over this game. But until i have it in my hands, i just don't know how it would handle, so until i buy a piece of this intercourse, or get some sort of free trial, to play with, I'll hold it in, until i'm really ready to let go, on how i think Paradise will be.
Good Morning World of Light.
Well finally got to watch Sony and Nintendo press stuff, and i must say Sony looks like they are having some trouble, it looked good and that new PSP has some interest for me, but the only game that stood out for me was KillZone 2, the other jargon of business just put me to sleep. Home was interesting but it reminded me of a house i own in TDU.
Nintendo on the other hand was good, new add ons and new games, and Mario Kart was looking great and it looked like a lot of players on line for a good old mash up. The Wii is breaking game play up for all people to become gamers, and for all people to get together to play around the mates house etc. While Xbox want you to keep connected anywhere and Playstaion want to build a virtual world for you to live and play in.
Its all good if you get past the bashing and blowing out of how much of a market share, each company thinks they own. Me i'm glad they are trying hard to get my business, and to get me to play something. Wii is social and keeps me fit, Xbox keeps me in contact with my friends on or off line and Playstation, want me to build a virtual world to stay put. They are all good for the consumer. But none of them brought something new, and i'm not saying it was same old same old, and there were new game types for each console, some looked great and different. The Esher type game for PS3 was cool and Portal from Sierra was just as new(shown last year) and Mario Galaxys was off the charts for a Mario Game. But did anyone push it, in this next Gen-era, Nintendo did it last year with the Wii as a console, but what about the games. We see the pinicale of FPS and Driving Games, we have RPGs, Stratagy(spelling bad), Puzzle, Simulation(racing, cooking, flying, etc), action etc of the general genres on console, hand held and pc, they are all starting to look good and play great, but what is next? What is the next must play fad, like Pokemon, Tetris, Halo, WOW etc. Who will put some money aside to make something new? Different? I know its not easy. If all the consoles what to keep you playing, like WOW, building a virtual place, home and person, then lets do it. I want to live in a Car Wars world, earn cash, build cars and have a base to live and store my death machines. Then get togther with other friends and make a convoy to take out other clans/gangs and also have objectives, like rob banks, race, bounty hunt or something to build up more cash. I want a world where i can be bad, so i can be good in the real world, I don't need ManHunt, but i don't need to play Pokemon either. Nor do i like WOW or Final Fantasy. You could say i'm taking about GTA, but i have not liked it yet, Crackdown was close, but i need more, options for 3rd and first person view, cars you have to build, that can be used for racing and shooting (see carwars for more), but it needs to have graphics like Revenge and Halo, Killzone, GOW all at the same time. Like you're driving along in a race and someone, you know is having a gun fight, so you could join in or drive on by. Also with racing games, why can't i race on my home town streets, me and drunk talked about this, the world must be maped by now with all that GPS and Sat Nav, in peoples cars, and its all digital code, for all i know drunk has sold this idea, as long as i get a share it's cool, but no-one has done it yet. I'm rambling now, probably already was, but i want all worlds put together, that is interactive with everyone else. Anyway this a blog so i'm blogging, see you all next time. Suffur.
E3 is not over, and it is buiness related, but what do gamers want and will any of the above 3 companies and thier third parties, give us something more?
