well
you need a camera to start, then in the menu system, make sure it is working by taking a new picture, once that works and you have the settings done to send and accept pictures you are on your way, though not sure if party mode is connected to pictures, i never noticed for that mode.
Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out?
