so was on the play.com website looking at dvd/games etc just seeing what was around and had a look at paradise to see what date they reckon it will be availabe.. sorry still no change will have to wait til the end of  the year.. but I couldn't resist.. i am drunk, i'm a burnoutaholic and i have already pre ordered my copy of paradise..

 

my question is.. am i the only one to have pre ordered their copy already?? surely i can't be the first of all the aholics to have pledged his loyalty and financial poverty to the grand master Mr Ward and the gods that are the developers at Criterian... please let me know that i am not alone in this..

I haven't yet... but I probably will when the release date has been confirmed. And you never know if there will be a bargain that you miss out on :-)

I don't know hat price Play.com are offering but i never spend more than, 40 quid on a game, so i like to shop around, to get the best price, call me cheap or smart, its the way i pay to play.

i know what your saying about waiting a seeing if there are deals to be had and if there are I will cancel the current order and go for whatever is cheapest (that is unless I have to wait after release date to get it).. its just the last few times that I have pre-ordered games I have left it too late and had to wait a couple of days after release for it to arrive..

I had a quick search about and the release dates range from November 2007 - February 2008 for pre-orders in the UK. The price seems to be around £39.99. I do not see the benefit of pre-ordering this early, although it is exciting to know its kinda on its way to you!

In the US if you pre-order you get a bonus in-game car - Steel Wheels. And the price is $59.99 with a release date of January 2008. So, slightly more incentive to pre-order, but I really hope that all cars will be available to all regions.

All release dates are still tentative, but the Play.com date of 14/12/07 sounds good to me! :-)

I pre-orderd my copy of paradise as soon as play allowed me to do so, Play dont charge your account until they have the game in stock (kinda nice of them that)

and sometimes its been known for Play to send the game out a day early, hehehehe Im gonna be on the night before release yessss... lol
