Ward and Sperry starts new game studio: Three Fields Entertainment

The people behind Criterion Games have started a new studio called Three Fields Entertainment. It seems like both Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry are involved in the new company. The studio website currently does not have a lot of information on it except for contact information and a logo.

Three Fields Entertainment will be creating games for all platforms where they can self-publish.

Earlier this afternoon Alex Ward tweeted that they are looking for talented Staff who are experienced in three fields of creating electronic entertainment. Time to get a new job?

Not sure Fiona is with them or at least not yet or she may be doing something else unless I missed something then delete this comment as I fail?

Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out?

A new Studio to follow, and since they have a 90% track record with me, I assume what ever is made will be good, though not sure what game/s they are going to be. Either way will be fun to watch what's next :).

Not been here for awhile.

Yes - we were well overdue for a change.

To quote Peter Gabriel "I was feeling part of the scenery, I walked right out of the machinery."

Three Fields is up and running and we're a small but dedicated team. It's all funded from savings and we're having a go. There are eight of us. We bought the important things we needed and begged and borrowed the rest. Four of us aren't taking any salary at all. We're giving it all we've got. We furnished the office from eBay and from donations from friends and family. A sofa here and a chair there.

I think everyone thinks that all Studios are big studios, and that big games suddenly happen as if from nowhere sometimes. We're very small, but we have big ambitions.That said, it's a huge risk to take and our savings won't last for ever.

Hopefully we'll have your support!
