Oh Dear, I can't spell...

Xbox 360, Xbox and, broken, smashed PS2, and Burnout Games(all of them except Burnout 1) For Sale, as I'm not allowed to play Burnout anymore because I can't spell.

As for the movie, I thought about , using Gamer Tags for Characters, and though i could not make it a-la 'Cars' by Pixar, a character can also be taken from driving style, car types and tracks, could also be used as a characters. And one day, it would be nice, if i could be bothered to make it. But it would be called Sunday Driving, with Sunday Drivers as an introduction to Cars and Gamer Tags as a Pilot.

Anyway the podcast was cool this week, some great questions from the gang was good to hear, and is that 'convict' a member, we need some more members on www.burnoutaholics.com from around the world.

Enough said, and if you have not heard the podcasts, do so, some great snippets of information, and piss taking and hearing how Criterion let off steam, by playing Hat wearing Uno on the Xbox 360, and Folding? on the PS3, anyone got a link to this Folding 'game'.

Why ask about real people in a car crash, if you have not been in one, you don't know what its like, and should ask in person if you need to know, not on 'air', bad taste, that question.

I think i should ask a question about Intial 'D' Drift Racer, and what the Criterion Team think about that game? And could you drive a dirty car, in Burnout Paradise, without loss to handling or driving skill?

One addition i do like about Paradise, is Parked cars, a conversation with drunknnumpty, had hi-lited this some years ago, and now i'm interested to see if you can drive around the Airport and takeout planes, via thier wheels, and drop them on rival racers?

Ps We should all ask for a Tuk-Tuk, as downloadable content for Paradise.

You know, i have become so spell check phobic, that writing a bog, sorry blog, has become effort, maybe i should start a podcast, and spelling mistakes will disappear, lol, as the script will be written phonetically?

They use lots of computers together to make one giant linked supercomputer, which they use to work out some hideously complex shit.

...I knew what that was all about, thats what what my friends do, at the game shop, but never knew it was called Folding, it can be done with pc's, i did not know the PS3 did this, my friends normally put 6 together, to do some number kruntching. I feel such a jargon nowb, i think its spelt this way now,  noob, formally.

so you pay £400 for a gaming console and link it up to do boring things, sounds like a reason to buy one (not)

imagine the possibility's of linking 1000,000 xbox 360 to a central nerve station and finally we could work out what 986531025464313 + 2= who cares man, why would anyone care, do they really care, is it fun, have they not heard of Live??? is that what it actually does or am I being ignorant again?? and why does Google spell check not recognise the word xbox??

Sorry the only thing? Folding, uses the power to help cure illness, like Cancer, polio, etc, not a bad thing, and you could also use it to find other Earths, then we could send you there Boot, first class, with a PS3, that you could use to still send your BLOGGY, lol.

So being an IT geek of sorts, well I'm a consultant of sorts around Hardware usages for a Major Bank (no not northern rock before you ask...).. the concept being talked about is grid computing, where you link multiple machines together to harness the processing power and run complex algorithms to work out whatever the program has to do..

Folding seems to be a brand name for this allowing any kind hearted PS3 owners (and PC owners) to let a company use their machine while its not been used for it purpose of playing games.. not really anything new except that you can now use a PS3 as well as a PC...

This has been going on for years, in fact I used to allow SETI to use a number of my home machines to crunch data gleamed from the telescopes to see if there was any sign of intelligent life out in the universe.. sadly my machines did not find anything intelligent out there... or even that much intelligence on this planet...

If you are intrested in learning more there is a website which explains folding and what it is trying to achieve (mainly data crunching for curing diseases)..

http://www.scei.co.jp/folding/en/

Also for those who might rather find an alien so they can blow its head off in real life rather than wait for Halo 3... the seti details are below..

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/

I know I'm sad to have looked into this but what the hell.. to quote Mr Blofeld - 'I'ts what I do...'

p.s - for those who don't know what SETI I wouldn't worry cause they'll never find you...
