BurnoutAholics:

First of all... BurnoutAholics.com is 12 years old! The site was first online on August 1st 2006! I think that is pretty good going.

Some of you might have noticed that the site has been down for a couple of days and that it now looks different.

The problems started when our host updated PHP to the latest version. This basically killed the site and I had to do some major updates to get it back online.

We have now stripped the site to a bare minimum. The content is still here but the ability to create new users, content, comments etc. have been removed. Power Users and other special members will still be able to post content. If you want to contribute let us now and we will promote you. The easiest way to get in touch is using twitter or Xbox messsages.

I also had to change the look/theme of the site. It is by no means perfect but at least it now works well on mobile devices.

At some point BurnoutAholics.com will come back in a more modern wrapping but at the moment we are keeping maintenance to the minimum.

Most of the issues with the site have now been fixed and members are now allowed to post comments.

Yup, we have some serious updating to do... might get around to it one of these days!

I would love to come and play, but for the same reason that new content is lacking a trip to come and play isn't really logistically possible for us at the mo.

Glad you are still reading though Alex, and we are very much looking forward to playing Dangerous Driving when we can get our hands on it!
