....
Don't really know where to start, so I think I may ramble a bit - apologies in advance.
I turn it on and it is truly beautiful to behold, the car handles nicely and I start freeburning around the city, knock out some signs, jump some jumps and crash, a lot. So I am an hour in and I can't get a feel for the city, the street names are not registering and to be honest I'm at abit of a loss for what to do so I go online with some strangers and it hits - cruising around on your own is pointless cruisin around with others is cool. Although there is very little to do in the demo, the potential is astounding for online play. I must admit I miss the ability to look up who has the best score/time on a given event (gamerwhore) but in the free for all of online play it is quite competitive to get your name to the top of the various statlists. I seriously miss the inclusion of Showtime as the videos posted by Psykoboy2 had really piqued my interest. The point to point races are far to insubstantial in the demo and should have been playable online against others. I really liked stunt run, once your knowledge of the city is there this will really come into its own. The ramps around the train yard (Rolling Stock!) are especially fun and it would have been nice to have had more big jumps. All in all a good experience and definately a game I will play, but I think I need to play the full game before I can tell if it will become a true replacement for Revenge.

Big Jumps
Have you driven to the top of the multi storey car parks? There are some pretty big jumps from the top of those!

Yeah, I like them - just wish they had a barrel roll jump from up there.
