Oooooh My God, I am playing again?!

Hello and welcome.

Last week, I believe it was Tuesday, I became ill once again. Yea, I wore wrong jacket for a walk with a dog (in the fog :P). It's pretty cool to be ill, when there is new LCD in my room and I can play Burnout all the time on my PS3. Revenge is back. I started to get through it for the 4th time. And I still find it fantastic! You know, what I wanted to write about (I know that no one will read this, but that's ok) is the Dominator. I've been playing it for a while (I got one to review from the site I'm working at) and I must say that... It's rubbish! Let me just give you a piece of conversation with friend of mine, about 6 months ago, when I was about to get the game on PS2 (I have also got it on PSP, but I bought it later).

Fenrir (me): So , you say that new Burnout rocks?

Mark (friend): Yea, it's fantastic.

F: O really? Tell me, what's so cool about it? I'll get one soon, but I want to know now.

M: Crash mode's gone!

F: You've got to be kidding me. I knew that EA can make the game rubbish, but THAT?

M: What do you mean rubbish? I didn't like crash mode. Now Burnout is great!

F: One more word, I swear I'll punch you. It was a bloody essence of the game!

M: It wasn't! I dislike it in fact so much, that I never had prefect rating in it!

bla bla bla. And I didn't punch him, although I should have. The Dominator is NOT the true Burnout to me. Sure, it has the Chain Boosts, everything's cool, high speeds, drifting but crash... It's missing! You know, the biggest Console mag in Poland (PSX Extreme, you could hear about it cause they gave 9 to Heavenly Sword) gave Dominator 9,5, as far as I remember. I gave it 7,5/10. Because of the Crash Mode missing I simply HAD to take those 2 away. And if it doesn't have at least 9/10, it's not Burnout! It just seems that Criterion has got that saomething what makes the game made by them special. Dominator was made by EA UK, cause CG was already working on Paradise. And I am sorry but EA UK just didn't make it. Guys from Criterion are amazing and it seems that EA was unable to make the game so good, that it'd look as if CG made it. Sorry guys, but True Burnout comes from Criterion ONLY. That's my opinion.
