I am not sure what to make of it, the online bit gets a little bit on the boring side when random people join your room and all they want to do is play chicken with you, there are plenty of jumps to do stunts on, barrel rolls, 180 spin slam it into reverse 180 again and drive off, its the sort if game I would play on a lazy Sunday when the mood is low, not when I want to have a laugh with a bunch of friends, I am not going to say to much after all its just a Demo and the full game.
The Burnout Paradise Demo is one of my all time favourite demos. Lots of fun roads and areas to explore. The Hunter Cavalry is one of the slowest cars in the game but still it feels faster than the Revenge Racer. The handeling and drifting is brilliant. Too bad that there are no online Race events... but the 9 online challenges are fun. There has been a lot of bitching about this demo and I'm not really surprised. People need to realize that is Burnout re-invented and not Burnout Revenge 2! It is a totally new game, I like to think about it as the ultimate Burnout. It still feels like Burnout but the game now has endless possiblites and I think the lifespan for this game will be much longer than any other Burnout game... yes! even Burnout 2: Point of Impact.
I will publish a complete review later... and yes, some of the negative aspects of the demo will also be covered.
I put down not sure as well (for the demo), the weird thing is I played it for about 6 hours yesterday and a further 4 today (so far). I can't remember the last time I played more thn once, never mind 10 hours in two days. I think I'm going to really love the full game, when I get to do more stuff with more people.
