Stunt Run cars for a novice?

i was wondering if people could recommend cars for a novice at Stunt Runs? Is it better to go with slower "Stunt" cars?  I've tried some runs with the Hawker and the Hot Rod, but they just seems to get away from me most of the time. I know i need to practice more, but is there a good car to start with that i can actually use to get the 150k+ achievements on my way to an Elite license?

I prefer the Watson Burnout Roadster for stunt runs. It is one of the slower stunt run cars. It handles good which is a good thing since it means that you will crash less. I normally end my Stunt Runs around 2,5 million points with this car. By end I mean that I let it timeout.

Barrel Rolls are risky business (2x multiplier) and I crash 2/5 times. To get high scores I do them only when Im sure that I will not crash (going of cliffs or big ramps).
