Guitar Hero World Tour....

Activision have released the entire track listing for their upcoming upgrade to the Guitar Hero franchise, Guitar Hero World Tour. Rock Band 2 might have shown their hand a bit early, as Activision trumps their 84 songs on disc by two, delivering 86 master recordings, the largest selection of on-disc music in the genre until the next iterations come out. While many of the songs on the list we've heard about over the past few months, trickling out in various press releases or in news articles, it sure is impressive to see the complete list all at once. See for yourself, after the jump!

When the house lights go down this fall, a new generation of guitarists, drummers and fearless frontmen will come together and rock with Guitar Hero World Tour. The latest installment in the #1 best-selling video game franchise of 2007, Guitar Hero World Tour transforms music gaming by expanding Guitar Hero’s signature guitar gameplay into a cooperative band experience that combines the most advanced wireless controllers with new revolutionary online* and offline gameplay modes including Band Career and 8-player “Battle of the Bands,” which allows two full bands to compete head-to-head online for the first time ever. The game features a slick newly redesigned guitar controller, drum kit controller and a microphone, as well as an innovative Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, edit and share their own rock ‘n’ roll anthems. Music creators will also be able to share their recordings with their friends online through GHTunesSM where other gamers can download and play an endless supply of unique creations.

Now this is a pre-order bonus. Activision has announced that folks in the United Kingdom who pre-order Guitar Hero World Tour's ‘super bundle’, which retails for around £150 and includes drums, mic, and guitar, the company will throw in a bass completely FREE...

Wondering what that mysterious, new instrument was going to be for Guitar Hero: World Tour? Don't bother, it's not even an instrument. But don't be glum, chum. It's something even better. Certain versions of the game will allow you to transfer MIDI tracks from a PC into the game, allowing you to easily create (or import) your own songs. Which sounds great! So what's the catch? This feature will only work across all instruments on the PS3. For the 360, they can only do the drums, thanks to "unspecified hardware issues". Man, it's just not the 360's day today, is it?.........

I prefer Rock Band, lol. But Singapore just got Rock Band well the whole of Asia and Austrailia, and it is a bone of contention, over here, since it is almost 2 years late. I have seen the GH-World Tour game at the show, showing off the Instruments, the drum kit looks pretty good with the cymbals and even have a pic with two Storm Troppers, on the Bass and Guitar, funny shot. GH just seems to rip it's customers without downloaded songs, not being able to be played with the other GH games on the same format. While Rock Band's downloadable songs are forward compatable, with Rock Band 2, but if you are fans of both, your going to need to get out the check book.

And I left you a vote, and now a comment, lol.

Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out?
