NEW WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER BETA.....

 Dont know if any of you are aware but there is a new WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER BETA available and i think its absolutely brilliant it took about 10 mins to download and install but im quite impressed with it. It has loads of new features compared to the WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER you are all currently using here are a few of the new features available

* Mail beta
* Messenger beta
* Photo Gallery beta
* Movie Maker beta
* Writer beta
* Toolbar beta
* Family Safety beta
* Microsoft Office Outlook® Connector beta.

And for those wondering here a brief image of what you will be seeing once you have downloaded the beta

All you need to do is goto HERE to download the new beta.....but please be warned this is a BETA so it may contain a few bugs.....i myself havent encountered any problems as such with it thats why i want to share it with you all today..... I dont know if this is of any interest to you all but you can add a group onto the new messenger so i thought maybe we could get a burnoutaholics group on the messenger so we can all keep in touch.....ive just joined XLNs and its cool we currently have 22 members in the group.....i think it will be cool but we will need to have either xandu or zombietron to be the group leader.....i think ill message xandu incase he doesnt read this......

Just got the new messenger and i was wondering if there was group made yet cos i really like the idea.

 i hope there is because it really is an excellent feature....although at the minute i am experiencing a problem i cant get into the forums on xbox.com?......but if i do resolve the issue and it does work out its the messenger i will however let you all now as soon as possible?.....hey Nizmo you couldnt do me a favour could you seeing as you have the new messenger?.....could you sign into xbox.com and click on the forums tab then click on the home tab? tell me what happens when you press the home tab....do u connect to the home page of the forum or does your screen freeze?......if you freeze the problem may lie within the messenger?.....if you connect then the problem lies within my damn PC.....id really appreciate you doing that for me........thanx......

back to topic i did propose this group thing but i guess youll have to contact Zombietron or Xandu regarding it.....

Psyche - have you tried signing out of messenger and closing the application and then trying the forums?

The interwebs must be clogged up or something then. Not sure really what the problem is. Why do you need to get to the 'home' page? Can't you click through the forum tree? Does clicking on the larger text 'Xbox Forums' to the left of the 'home' button work for you? It should take you to the same place.

Sorry to tell you but everything works fine here try clearing your cookies? or using another browser and see if the problem stays.

Yeah i had a few ppl try it and they got in no problem.....i deleted the livesign in assistant and everything but still no joy.... i am now however having to resort to using SAFARI its not bad but at least i can connect to everything with no problems.... but like everything i hate change and its awkward when your used to doing something in a certain way......but this safari looks good so i might stick with it for now or at least until i can fix this problem but if anyone has ANY suggestions on solving this im all ears ...... thanx for trying anyway nismo.....

I've created the BurnoutAholics group. There seems to be  a limit of 20 members pr group and lots of the options are grayed out. I guess this is because it's still in beta. If you want to join send me a PM  (no comments please!) with your msn id (mail address) and I'll invite you.
