Updates 2008-10-09

Since our coverage of most of the Burnout games are now available from the Primary menu I decided that it was time to write an introduction page for each game that was missing one.

I have now created a new front page for Burnout Paradise giving access to most of the content we have on the game. The background picture on the page is taken from the Criterion Games fansite pack.
I have also fixed the news page so it only shows news related to Burnout Paradise and no longer mixes in poll, faqs etc.

My plan now is to create a new front page for Burnout Revenge and probably add some more information relevant to that game.

Xan, I *know* you've done a heck of a lot lately on changing the looks of this site and making it better. I just have one teensy little comment... for one reason or another, I went into the Takedown part of it (was wanting to look if there was a faq I could use), and on that page every sidebar item, and I mean *every* one of them: blogs, comments, faqs, addiction points; are in the left side. None of the other game pages, only on Takedown.

You might want to fix that eventually... just FYI.

so far we (when I say we, I mean Xandu) has only cleaned up the Paradise page, we will be doing the rest of the games over this weekend (or at least that's the plan) so hopefully the Games Pages will all look a bit more professional next week.

It looks like we only have 1 FAQ for takedown: http://www.burnoutaholics.com/?q=node/143

What was it that you wanted to know??

Just wanted to see if anyone had some tips on the signature takedowns... they're a PITA to complete. So far I'm still lacking 7 signatures plus completing 3 trophies in order to get from 99 to 100%.

Tried and tried and TRIED over the past 2 days, finally got cranky enough (not long after my post) and started over on Lego StarWars instead.

I've had the game and the movies in my head since Wednesday last week as the intro music to SW is used as intro music to events on stage at the fair. Every time a new event started, I just wanted my eggbox...

Here is a link to Operation Burnout's guide to the signature takedowns which might help you. Burnout Elite used to have some good guides on signatures, but unfortunately the site no longer exists. I think their guides were mostly to do with Revenge anyways...

OK here is the link:
