Seems that EA-games are going political on us: http://www.neowin.net/news/gamers/08/10/14/video-games-feature-ads-for-o...
From the article:
"Nine video games from Electronic Arts Inc., ranging from the extremely popular "Madden 09" football game to the street racing "Burnout: Paradise," feature in-game ads from the Obama campaign."
Personally, I don't think political advertising should find it's way into games that are also played by minors who aren't allowed to vote yet, what do you think?

It's certainly caused a stir...
and gained loads of publicity:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,438208,00.html
Now gaining national (or I guess I should say international) news coverage, not just gaming news sites.
I think the Obama campaign has definitely got bang for the buck, nearly every Burnout Paradise forum has had some kind of debate about the ad's, and I would guess the other games will also have people talking about it. Although most gamers seem to not like politics being forced on them as they play, at least it has opened a debate.. or a can of worms!
As far as it being in a medium that kids will see, I am pretty sure TV ads for the presidential campaigns will be on at times when kids are watching too... so I don't see this as being negative, if anything I think it is a good thing that kids are aware of the political process before they are old enough to vote. I was much more politically active before I turned 18, and I think thats a good thing!

Hmm...
It doesn't matter if I agree with the person running or not, I still do not think that should be in games. However, EA Advertises for so many things, the lines are becoming a bit blurred. We get bombarded with all the other things EA is advertising; like Axe, and EA games and who knows what else is in EA games.
Can you post some screen shots relating to your comment, plz?
