CG Forum?

I've been out of the BP loop for a couple months...

WHAT HAPPENED TO the CG FORUM?

The forums have been closed for quite some time, you can read more about it here:

It was a bit of a mystery really, one day there there, and the next, gone!.

He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me.  First I couldn't find the link to it from their webpage, so I typed criteriongames.com/forum into my browser and got this FORBIDDEN message.  I thought it was weird that they made a referance to them on one of their podcasts after they were closed.

Latinam est, fatue!

Did the big hand of NOD ...err EA.... crunch down on CG or what?

I think Alex just got fed up of all the negative posts, especially the abusive ones and porn links.

You can still talk directly to the CG team by using Twitter.

CriterionGames@twitter looks like all marketing and stuff.  I enjoyed having convos with those guys.

Yh, I wonder what did happen to the forums... One day, I was writing a message, posted it, and 2 seconds later the site was gone....

No real wondering when ZombieTron nailed it right on the head. They got fed up with the rampant abusive posts and constant flaming of the devs in particular and the company in general. It became a giant troll house.
