Trophy Not Coming...!

Anyone Please Help With This... I Got 200 Yellow Smashes I Have Over 300 Right Now But I Just Registered Here... I Was Lookig For Burnout Forums... My Problem Is That I Didnt Get The Trophy For That... I Have Over 300 And When I Just Got 200 I Remember It Said At The Bottom That I Got An Award But The Trophy thing Never Poped Up And I Check In The Trophy Collection About The Disc In XMB AND Ya It Wasnt There... My Psn Id Is vVanTeD-PlaYeR

I've heard of trophies not showing up before.  If you have over 200 smashes, but no trophy, then I'm afraid there's only one thing you can do.  While this may sound drastic, it really isn't and it won't take long.

1. Back up your current gamesave to a memory stick.

2. Delete the gamesave from your PS3.

3. Start a new game and just go for smashes.  You're only going for 200 of the 400, so it really shouldn't take THAT long.

4. Once you get the trophy, exit the game and delete this newly created gamesave.

5. Restore your original gamesave from the memory stick.

6. Enjoy your trophy and the road to 100%

Well, that's completely up to you.  If it makes you feel any better, those of us that started the game back in January 2008 had to do this very same thing when the trophies were released, as they were not made retroactive.  I had to do it to get the trophy you're after, and just about every other trophy as well.

I guess it just depends on how much of a completionist you are and how important the trophies are to you.
