yeah guys just noticed the new challenges are listed in the game
Smash n' Grab

Collect 20 Island Smashes
    20pts

Surf Boards
Collect 15 Island Billboards
    20pts

Island Explorer
Find all 15 Island events
    20pts

Crash TV Air Time
Land the Mega Jump from the Crash TV Ski Jump and get at least 4.5 seconds of Air Time
    25pts

People Person
Awarded when you complete all 10 Island Freeburn Challenges. These can be completed by 2 - 8 players
    25pts

Dosnt seem very much

cool, thanks for letting us know, I have added the list to our front page story. It is very frustrating that CG do not do the same achievements as they do PS3 trophies, and there excuse about limits are pretty lame. Especially as the rules have changed and DLC is now allowed 250gs extra per premium DLC, so why only add 110 GS with the Island?? and why only spread that 110 over only 5 achievements??

I just don't get it!

With the paltry number of achievements on all the DLC it seems to me like CG are dissing the 360 a little.  Under the new DLC rules they could have easily added 10 new achievements with 25GS each.  As they are I reckon all the new ones can be gotten in under 3 hours.

 

Don't get me wrong I'm not a GS whore and the DLC is more about having fun but it would have been nice to show us X360 owners a little more love.

I'm not so sure about why there's only an extra 110 Achievement points, but otherwise Criterion need to make the Achievements worthwhile.  Having an actually number of points, it needs to satisfy everyone, including the Achievement... Hounds, to put it nicely.
