400 MS points for a Lightsaber without sound effects!?

Now I am happy to have some Avatar stuff and I know a small fee must be presented or you got to buy the game and complete some task to gain stuff, but some of this stuff does not show up unless you go right into your party menu, to see the stuff in action.

So you pay to see the stuff, but your friends will have a small wait before you or they, can see you use it, I have never seen the stuff in action while in the friends list dash board, so until you can really show off I am putting off buy anything as yet, though Pom Pom's FTFW! It hilarious and slightly erotic, sort of lol. 

Cotton swab for the second place, Chicken on a Pully for Tird.

But dressed as a Storm Trooper with a Light Saber, means you got too many MS Point to play with, and should be saved for Battlefield 1943, for Jeep racing!

But lots of stuff, from Adidas, Quick Silver, Monkey Island, Clone Wars, etc etc. There is some GoW stuff but I get a no go, since I have not played Episode 2 of that game, and will not due to 3rd peron shinanigans.

Anyway enjoy the new Dash update, it looks good, seems to run a bit faster now if your on the 120g HDD, and with lots of little additions, Cache clearance, HD set up etc, please find a MS link to find out what they have been upto and put into.

No, find it yourself, hence why you pay for broad band in the first place, to find nrop and 'chievo help, lol.

Anyhew drop in a comment to what you think etc etc.

Edit: one of the stars in the back ground made it look like 480 when it is 400 sorry. But even that is steep for some pixelation and no sound!

Call me crazy, but I like all the stuff that you can buy for your avatar. I've already spend more than 1000 ms points And I think I will be buying the pom poms after seeing them in action lol. But yeah the stuff is over priced, but so are most things on xbl.

I still have a really hard time buying anything virtual. I wont be buying anything for my Avatar or any games on demand, I don't buy movies over XBL or MP3's. Call me old fashioned, but if I'm paying good money for it, I like to be able to hold it in my hands!

Even DLC is a struggle for me, I get extra map packs and other additional gameplay elements that were not developed at the time of the original game being available, but the other little things that they try to sell you which don't add to the gameplay.. I would rather save my money for something a bit more worthwhile.

GamerPics and Premium themes and all of that non-sense are seriously overpriced and not worth it. I like getting the FREE ones tho!

Those pom-poms are a must buy, saddly I have no points, actually I am 20pts short to go ra ra ra, lol. I agree though the stuff is expensive, considering there is no mark up, for retail space, staffing etc, don't get me wrong MS staff, artists need paying, but DL's are supposed to have low overheads etc, so the stuff should be cheap, right?

So do ya little walk and buy dem Pom-Poms they put a smile on most peoples faces, and for some a small bit of wood, lol.

And what did you spend 1000mspoints on 'Nightmare', the storm trooper with helmet and pom-poms or THE LIGHT SABER! Got more points than cents, lol.

Oh and PS you can now see the stuff on your friends bar, you just got to wait a bit, I had Jynxx and Blofeld, going Ra RA in time last night, without them knowing I think, lol.

I had some extra points left and purchased it, and it didn't have any sound lol. OMG, they will have to make an update for that one. I awnted the apprentice outfit too.

Looking through my friends list yesterday it seems the Purple Pom-Pom's are the most popular item for your Avatar, although some people seem to pull off the cheerleader dance moves better then others!!  

I'm looking forward to more Avatar games being available, but I think for Guitar Hero 5 to look really cool with Avatars we will need a much bigger variety of FREE Avatar stuff and more variety of looks. Avatars as they are now just don't really ROCK!!
