Cg's NFS
NFS Nitro is a Wii NFS game and nothing to do with Criterion Games, NFS World Online is a PC NFS game and also nothing to do with Criterion Games.
So far we know very little about CG's NFS game.... but when we do know more, we will let you know!

NFS Concept Art Hoax
There was a hoax online a few days ago, the details of which I will share here... Criterion games tweeted that the following images and game details are 100% fake, which I am glad about, because frankly it doesn't sound or look all that great!! Anyway... for the sake of curiosity, here are the hoax pics and details:
NFSGame.net claims to have the first pieces of concept art and details (originating from fansite NFSUnlimited) of Criterion's effort, outing a game called Need for Speed: Out of the Law. The images show off a Mazda MX-5, Nissan Skyline R32 and what was a new addition to Burnout Paradise post-release: racing bikes. Apparently Out of the Law (that's a really odd title) will take place in the fictional city of Bay City Sun -- a take on on San Francisco, slightly larger than the world in NFS: Undercover -- and features day/night cycles and various weather conditions. There's also mention of "strengthened" police patrols that can also ride motorcycles.
