327mph on Angel Valley F using the Revenge Racer on PS2. The jump where you go to the right onto the highway past the billboard; I landed on a same way car and my speed glitched up to 327
__________
This is the truth that I am revealing before you! Behold; those who hear me now, have got ears to hear from!
I have only managed a measly 280mph in the Revenge racer on xbox 360 but that is probably because I dont do it the correct way, I did read Ivor's guide and realised I dident do it the way he explains..
The Drugs dont work!! ----English is my second language, feal free to flame me----
I will admit the most I ever got on Angel Valley F was 294mph..... I figured you probably got this coming out of the ramp onto incoming on the straightaway...
The most I ever got was 324mph in White Mountain Reverse.......No its not that ramp where you either go up or down the track (although if I do get that high jump there I usually get 298-302 on occasions) but it is the next one after the clock tower with the two jumps with the steps going up onto another step and into a straightaway......
"There's Jinno, One of the Twin Angels" - DjSubzero18 (Burnout Revenge Online, 3/20/ 2009).
380 mph off the big jump on White Mountain R. I couldn't steer my car sharp enough to get around the left turn coming after the jump, so I slammed into the wall and wrecked.
Off that big jump on the right after the starting line, the one with my favorite sign to run into at the top of the ramp. Goofing around, got to the left of it, bounced off the building, missed the two oncoming cars at the landing and surprised the crap out of myself.
on old xbox with the criterion 205 GT i got 305 -308mph on white mountain forward on the jump after the church... that was my first drift jump i ever did haha.. then on the 360 on sunshine keys R on the jump after the boat yard i drifted to the right landed on the constuction cones and they lifted my car all the way through the end were the plants are and i got the top speed of about 377mph
The harder to play every game makes you more a winner the cheating to the top!(it's like the needler got on Steroids!)
No not another spiked drink, on the old XBox, on Eternal City Long, with a jump down the stairs i have got 380 mph, going into the short cut, when i had a chance to see it, because at that speed i have crashed lots of times, being in awe at my speed that i forget to drive. And on, the Xbox 360, the White Mountain broken bridge gap i have pulled 405 mph, taken out the van, by landing on it, shooting like a 405mph rocket into the bend, scrapped it and over corrected into the on-coming. I can get great top speeds, but controling the beast is hard, and keeping it going, i know you can't touch a thing, and i don't most of the time, but it is still hard to stop running out of boost to keep the speed going at 260 mph, (i normally only get a consistant speed of 230 mph at most these days) i even take my finger off the boost, to save it, as i am already going faster than its supposed to give, but it still Frazzels(this weeks snack food, for the Criterion team) out faster than anyone else i race. Oh BurnoutAholic community what am i doing wrong, i have read and watched Ivor's, write up and videos, on drift jumping, (its like 'not' mentioning the war), and i still can't become a great racer and booster, i might have to buy another copy and see if the code is better, than the one i have got, just so its all perfect, to beat a top 100 lap time?
Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when its going to run out?
Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out?
Every time I ask Cognito about it the great boost jumping speeds hes getting he says something about taping your disc to make it spin faster and then your 360 reads faster, thus giving you faster boost speeds. But so far every time I try this it lets all the magic smoke out of my 360. Someone said its something you can download off the marketplace.
What type of tape, i have duct tape, selotape or is it celotape, maybe another 'l', surgical tape, scotch tape, audio tape, reel-to-reel tape, dried tape worm(no, you do not want to know), masking tape(thats for fixing my masks) and double-sided tape, i even have duck tape to fix some ducks? Do i put it(the tape when clarified), North, South, East or West on the disk, or all the way round it or something different? If i do different laminatinations of tape, would i get an even higher, longer lasting speed and better boost?

If your gonna do it you gotta use the heaviest tape you can find and make sure you only tape one side of the disc. Remember, the more tape you have on there = the faster the disc spins so load that thing up for faster top speeds. Now throw the disc into your brothers xbox and go for some lap times!
... i am testing different types of mastic materials and seeing which will give me the best lap times vs without, i have excel, and other spread sheet programs kruntching the data, as i type, and my results will be coming out soon. Caution double sided tape, you should only unstick the side you are going to use against the disk, if you do both, bits of hair, dust and a small screw seem to attach itself, to its sticky surface. Don't ask why at the speed the disk spins, did this screw not bury itself, somewhere into the interior of my 360.
Also during testing, while using the double sided technique, rolling the edge of the disk in sugar, salt, and other granulated house hold products, does cause, some strange pattering sound effects, like interior rain drops, that are dry, to come from inside my 360.
Ps don't try this yourself, as it will mess with your warranty, and will kill your XBox 360. Yes, the Legal team have phoned and gave me grief to make sure no other idiot does the same thing, as also the risk of fire, and other ways to do yourself bodily harm.
And where did the screw come from, probably my mind.
