Criterion Games Network: CG answer's your FAQ's

I was having an explore on the CGN as we now all have access to it via the CG webpage, and I thought I would re-post this FAQ, in which CG explain why the sponsor codes were removed amongst other things, here it is:

"I just started playing Burnout Paradise and I want to know how I can get the free stuff I missed out on (motorcycles, night-time driving, etc)"
 
All of our FREE updates, Bogart, Cagney, Bikes, and now the 1.7 update, are included in the latest update. This means that if you download the newest update, 1.7, you will automatically get the previous patches.
 
"I'm sure other players have already mentioned it, but the trophy for getting 3x Boost Chain in the Legendary Car, GT Nighthawk, doesn't appear."
 
You're right. A few people are experiencing a problem with the GT NightHawk Trophy which appears to be caused by the order in which previous Trophies were won, we are currently investigating further.
 
"I do enjoy all the new updates and car packs, but I'd like to know why the Sponsor Code was removed"
 
The Sponsor Codes option was removed from all copies of Burnout Paradise and the codes will no longer work. This was a 2008 launch promotion which has now ended. Sorry but you'll have to make do with all the rest of the awesome cars in the game.  If you are bored of those how about checking out the Legendary Cars - available now from the Burnout Store.
 
"What happened to the game calendar I don't see at the loading screen anymore and also what does the new Time Savers Pack do?"
 
The calendar was part of the Burnout Paradise Live page which has been replaced with this shiny new Criterion Games Network. We're working on a new and improved calendar for this Criterion Games Network, so watch this space.
