CG have baffled me the last few days with seemingly random movie quote tweets, here is what they have tweeted so far;
The first movie quote (AFAIK) was: "It's called ICE and it gets a little slick" from True Lies, as this was when the UK was suffering from a big freeze, I assume it was to do with the weather... but it was followed by these quotes;
Remember....short, controlled bursts.... from Aliens, but sounds like a reference to boosting, then "What's the story Mother?" from Alien and "Who is more foolish? The fool? Or the fool who follows him?" from Star Wars.
Then; "Feel any pressure?" ".....About fifty pounds per square inch at sea level" I have no idea what this is from, and "Green....Green For Danger!" which is an old movie from the 40's!
Is this a code? Are CG teasing us with information about NFS? What could it mean??? What is the connection? Follow CG on Twitter for more!!

Criterion Games Random Movie Quotes
Oh well, so much for my conspiracy theories, after another movie quote tweet "Welcome back to 'World of The Psychic....'" Criterion Games announce that there is nothing in their tweets "You must not read anything into these Tweets. We not 'teasing' or 'announcing' anything game related. Never on Twitter anyway."
So, I guess the new CG NFS is NOT going to be set in a galaxy far, far away, under the sea on an ice planet with green ghosts and aliens....

... and now for something completely different
well not completely because it is still a tweet, but it's a useful, informative on topic tweet, with no signs of randomness or movie quotations!
CriterionGames "New DLC Bundle Pricing coming soon. More details in Feb!"
So it looks like the DLC for Burnout Paradise will be getting a price drop!!! (possibly) I found the DLC to be on the expensive side of worth buying, so hopefully this announcement will give those Paradise fans who haven't bought all the DLC yet as it was too expensive, something to look forward to.
As my copy of Burnout Paradise has been boxed away now, and I have no intention of returning to it, this has no affect on me whatsoever. I will probably do a front page news story about it when we get more details in Feb tho!
See ya on Revenge!
