2007 was a great year for BurnoutAholics.com. The prototype web site was lunched 2007-01-01. In May work on the site in the form we know it today began and 1 month later we opened up for registrations. We started counting unique visitors 2007-06-01.
Here are the stats for the last 7 months:

Extra Cars in Burnout Paradise

UK Burner's can now get an Extra car by pre-ordering Burnout Paradise at GAME, just like the US can by pre-ordering at GameStop.

 Wal-Mart Racer

The Walmart Racer can be unlocked by entering "WALMART" in "Under The Hood" in the main menu of Burnout Paradise.  Which makes me wonder what other words can be entered to unlock other cars?

Burnout Paradise Demo supporting 8 players online

From Jan 4th to Jan 14th 2008, the Paradise City servers will double the number of players that can join in an online session of Burnout Paradise, from 4 to 8. This also means that all 22 challenges in the demo will be made available. Read the full story here.

Burnout Paradise Soundtrack revealed!

EA has today announced the full track listing for the Burnout Paradise soundtrack, which is headlined by Guns N' Roses' rock anthem Paradise City. In total the soundtrack will include songs from forty major artists including Adam and the Ants, Depeche Mode, Jimmy Eat World, Soundgarden and The Pigeon Detectives.

The Burnout Paradise soundtrack features a truly volatile mix of rock's most dangerous tracks -- beginning with the iconic 'Paradise City' -- for an audio fuel as explosive as the game itself.

In addition to this Burnout Paradise also inluces the soundtrack from Burnout 1, Burnout 2: Point of Impact and the original soundtrack for Burnout 3: Takedown. This is the music that was replaced by the EA-TRAX soundtrack that is in the game today.

Xandu’s Demo experience

I’ve been playing this demo for a good 15 hours now and I think I’m ready to do a little write up.
 
The demo contains 1 Stunt Run Event, 1 Race Event and 1 Burning Route. When doing online freeburn there is a total of 22 online challenges. As far as I know only 9 of these are currently available but hopefully the remaining 13 will be unlocked at a later time.

The Official Burnout Paradise Webpage is full of information about the game.  Including a cool version of the map with colour coded districts and loads of screen shots.

Most of the information is from Criterion Games own website, like the podcasts and news, but its in a Paradise style and it looks good!

The wait is finally over for 360 BurnoutAholics around the world.

The Demo is available for download NOW!

Not sure about the PS demo tho, you may have to wait until 8am PST for that one.

EA Servers are Down

EA are aware of this and are dealing with it. Please let us know if you are aware of them being fixed before we are.

This means currently there is NO Burnout online at all for the Xbox 360.

EA Tech Support have said the problem was caused by the 360 update yesterday.
