Good Gamerscore and Bad Gamerscore

People who play games solely for Gamerscore are apes. There is no point to waste time just for Gamerpoints. That being said, it is respectable to have Gamerscore for the games that you play and devote time to.

I value having a high Gamerscore per game, and achievements, rather than having a high Gamerscore overall. Any ape can get Gamerscore for Cars, Avatar, and other games that require no skill. On the contrary, it makes your gamertag a little more reputable if you have high Gamerscore for games that actually require skill.

Out of Curiousity...

I've been wondering for quite some time why, when I edit a post, it often times takes an addiction point away from me and adds one to Xandu?  I'm not too concerned about it, though this does peak my interest at this time... since I am on this site

HALO 3

Simply put, Halo 3 is one of the best games ever! Awesome game with an epic campaign and excellent MP; what else needs to be said? Halo 3!

Bonds out of San Francisco

It's official:  the San Francisco Giants will not be resigning all-time home run leader and single season home run record holder, Barry Bonds, next season.

I understand that the franchise is trying to rebuild, but Bonds is a legend; an all-time great whose legacy will remembered, and not diminished or tarnished by the rumors of scandal.

Bonds may not be the player he once was in his youth, but he still is productive, and provides veteran leadership... it's disappointing to find out that he won't be returning to the Giants next season.

I Don't Get It ?

Why is it that regarding their fanbase duing their podcasts, the spokemen for Criterion come off as being such egomaniacal ***? It makes no sense to me that instead of giving a straight answer, they feel the need to flame for idiotic reasons (STX's gamertag, spell check, etc.)... it's really classless and pathetic.

I cannot understand why anyone would submit questions just to be treated with such outright disrespect. AW and Criterion seriously need to get over themselves, and give straight answers to questions.

A Challenge! :-)

This is a challenge to those of you who have ever played NFS:HP2 (Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2) on either Xbox or PS2.  I've played it on PS2 and PC (it's not the same on PC...), and it's one of my favorite racing games of all time.

Anyway, I went back today and, using a McLaren F1 on Coastal Parklands (the easiest track), recorded a clean lap of 1:28.17.  My best lap was 1:21.91.  For a 4 lap event, my best time was 5:46.99 [Lap 1) 1:34.81, Lap 2) 1:24.24, Lap 3) 1:21.91, Lap 4) 1:26.03].

--Ecstatic Over the Failures of ND, Michigan--

In college football news today, Oregon crushed Michigan on Michigan's home turf to the astounding score of 39-7.  Michigan, ranked #5 in the nation in the preseason polls, now drops to 0-2 for the start of the season, losing both games on their home field for the first time since 1959! This loss to Oregon comes after their historic loss last week to Division I-AA Appalachian State, and is the 4th consecutive loss for the team (dating back to last season).  Michigan also allowed over 600 yards of offense to Oregon, the 2nd worst defensive performance in Michigan's history!

Heading in the wrong direction?

I have to be honest, I have extremely high hopes for Burnout 5 and have been awaiting it for the better part of this past year. However, recent information regarding the upcoming title has really been irking me......

1UP: Can you explain how the player will progress through the game? How will you know you're 100% done, earn faster cars, etc?
