Zombie's Norwegian Adventure!

I am in Norway, and today it is cold! We drove up to the local ski resort to see the snow and it was -10 degrees!! The coldest it has been so far.

Mountains reflected in the frozen sea

It wasn't a white christmas, but I got to try the traditional Norwegian christmas food Pinnekjøtt, which is a salty lamb dish which everybody was surprised that I liked. They had made sausages for me as well just in case I didn't like it! This is what it looks like:

I brought a Christmas Pudding for Xandu's family to try too as they don't have Christmas Pudding in Norway.

We went out yesterday to see I am Legend at the Cinema at the 11.10pm showing. It was strange for me to go to the movies that late, the last show at home is 9ish at the latest. The cinema was pretty packed too considering it was late on Sunday night. Good movie tho, I enjoyed it. Tonight we are going to have some fireworks to celebrate the new year. It is the only day that fireworks are allowed in Norway!

I haven't played Burnout for over a week! The withdrawal symptoms have been helped a bit today by listening to the Burnout 3 Soundtrack whilst driving on roads very similar to White Mountain and Alpine!

Xandu took the pics, we just drove up to have a look. The last time I was here the ski centre had just closed as it was May, so it was nice to see people enjoying the slopes. It was really cold and we weren't dressed for the snow really so we stopped at the ski centre cafe for a hot chocolate and will have to go back next year to ski. I haven't been for many, many years, but would love to ski again! They had some rails set up for boarders too!!
