I haven't played Burnout Revenge much since before I went away for christmas. Playing the Paradise demo has made me just want to play Paradise, but I feel done with the demo, it's too frustrating running into closed roads that really should be open by now! It is January 2008! What is the Paradise City Highways department doing???
So, instead I have been playing Burnout 3 and Rainbow Six Vegas, and even a little Halo 3.
It's really nice to see the Burnout 3 revival that has been happening over the last few days. There have been a good few rooms running. Dedicated racers have been back and BurnoutAholics has been hosting a Road Rage room.
It's just under a week now until Paradise will be in UK stores. but I don't want to wait anymore..

Ha...
My HD TV just died, I am not amused and even with a supposed 24 hour, 5 year cover, the support lines are 'not' only open during shop hours. Ha... my store is open Sundays, tried to call them, and it puts you thorugh to said support line which is closed unless it's a PC problem, again not happy about this, so up in the morning onto the phone at 8 am to get this sorted before I get my PARADISE DISK, as it looks poor on a standard TV. Thing is, I looked at the Bulb, and it seems fine, not that I am Bulb expert, but did notice my fan is playing up, I can't hear it spin, got out the Hoover to get any dust out, it was not that bad, but then again I clean it out every couple of months, from the outside, so not sure what is going on.
Now on a Standard TV and other than the Dash Board, most of the games I play look poor, playable but not nice compared to HD.
And no I don't want to mess with it or maybe my cover will be lost and i paid in advance, so polite grief to Curry's in the Morning, for not telling me Sunday support, does not happen, they should have sent out a mailer to inform customers, that is what is paid for, customer services and repair and replace. I shall keep you all informed, of what they plan on doing to keep me happy.
Patience is something I taught myself, so I never know when it's going to run out? Unless my TV goes off, now I'm just Angry and people will Suffer.

Got an Engineer, coming out Wensday
Got an engineer calling me Wensday (between 8 and 10.30, nice wake-up call, lol) to set up a meet that day to look at my TV and also had a word with a support member about not informing customers about the change in contacting dayz, and have asked that a mail should be sent out to customers, to inform them of the change of times, we will see what happens, as i have asked to get one, asap.
Anyway TV should be working Wensday, if not have to buy another (I still want it repaired, so I'll have 2, so when numpty comes down he'll have a decent TV to play on), something ecco friendly, a Samsung LCD would be nice, but I hear it's only ecco to a certain size, so we will see, if any one knows more about it, send me a PM or comment below would be cool.
And getting my broad bandings looked at on Saturday too, so by next week it going to be all good I hope, an may even be able to host a big room in the future, which will be nice.
