*Sniff* *Sniff*

A moment of silence, please, for my 360, which RRoD'ed today.

I thought I was safe.  It was one of the first generation 360's that was the center of the 'RRoD scare'.  While my friend's consoles (all of which were newer than mine) RRoD'ed, mine kept working faithfully.  Until today, when I turned it on to play a little Need for Speed.  It started loading, then just... Stopped.

Granted, I did not play it much these days, but it will be missed.

Microsoft are fixing these for free, so send it back and get it fixed!

You might miss it for a month, but you shouldn't have any problems after that.

you dont play burnout.. lol.. just kiddin.. as Zom says send it back.. so far I have had mixed experiences with the process... have recently had to send both my original gen 1 console (which died over a year ago) and my 3rd (?) gen core system due to RRoD.. they picked up a couple of days after I raised the repair request and I even had one back within a week.. but this unfortunately RRoD after about 40mins so is being picked up again tomorrow.. the other one came back the next day and has been running fine since... you just know I'm gonna go home tonight turn it on and it will be like F U and show me the RRoD.. lol

I plan to.  I was just taking a moment to mourn the passing of a (relatively) old friend...

Fortunately for me, I guess, that I bought Paradise for the PS3.
