This Thursday (or not) the boost specials will be released "ThePosterBoyThe Boost Specials Collection will be available on 360 and PlayStation 3 on Thursday 9th March...more details soon", even though today is the 9th of march, i will investgate.

no mention of the PS3 yet though, probably later on this evening as per usual on the ps3.

Prices have been revealed for today's pack, and it's not good news:

Burnout Paradise Boost Specials Collection
$7.99 / €7.99 / £5.99 / 640 MS

Carson Extreme Hot Rod
$4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99 / 400 MS

Montgomery Hawker Mech
$4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99 / 400 MS

Very pricey indeed, the leaked price was only 460 for both???

even in the pack it is £3 per car (on PS3)! That is just super cheeky!

The original game had 78 cars and cost £39.99 making it just 50p per car, I really don't see how they can justify the prices of the DLC packs! It's crazy!!

I was intending on buying this pack, having not bought any of the others yet as I didn't feel the vehicles were worth it, however this price point has put me off.

I really hope the Island doesn't come in at 2000+ MS points, but it's looking more and more likely that it will!

You get your games cheap. If you bought the game in Sweden you could add around £10 to that price (for the game that is... DLC seems to have the same price).

It seems that Criterion has become just as bad as the other racing game developers who charge a bundle for a few extra cars.  Hopefully Criterion will lower the price of these packs at some point like Bungie did with the map packs for Halo 3.  Or maybe they are planning on making the boost specials the deal of the week and charging the leaked price then.

 Bet you wish you had've been waiting that day when they released the legendary cars & snapped them up for 400ms for the pack. Or in the case of some members bought them when they saw them, instead of thinking they would get them later

At the very least get the extreme hot rod, it is the best value in the game now.
